A difficult one to rate. Great location, an easy drive to New Quay, and secluded from the main road. Fabulous views of the local red kites as they occasionally come down for food. Nuthatchs and spotted woodpeckers from the wood at the rear of the site.
A disappointingly large amount of gravel for hard standing and car tracks through the site. Most of the site given over to seasonal, so expect plenty of gnomes, solar lights and little fences, though the touring site, next to the wood, is pleasant. Good dog walking facilities. Excellent shower and toilet block, though water disposal facilities difficult for older persons, having to lift heavy containers to empty.
But I will be going back, as local places to visit wonderful!

We had a lovely peaceful stay here - the site is immaculate with a lovely new shower block and laundry. There is an abundance of wildlife especially birds onsite and we loved going to dolphin watch from the pier at New Quay (although didnt see any this time!).

The site owners and Eddie the warden were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back in the summer.

The New owners at the park have made some major alterations to the site in just 12 months. The new toilet block, drainage and landscaping have made a massive difference to the park. Easy location with access to local facilities make it a great place to stay.

Nicely placed caravan park, only 100 yards off the main road, but really quiet, and beautifully maintained.
The shower/toilet block is superb, massive shower cubicles, plenty of hot water, well lit, and well placed at the top of the park.
Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the park, and it is a very comfortable place to stay.
Martin is an amazing guy, always helpful, always ready to pass on local information.
There is a garage outside the park, a really good pub and restaurant next door, and a bus stop just a few yards away.
Nice level hard standing, and plenty of fresh water points, you should have a great stay, we did

Loved this site spotless, nice atmosphere The Owner keeps it very clean. He is very helpful and polite. We went to the Harbour which is only about a mile and a half we watched Dolphins and Seals they were happily playing in the water. I
describe this place as mini Cornwall its lovely lots of little quirky shops. We Were on pitch 5 as recommended by other person on reviews. Seasonal Lady on site very friendly offered a cuppa and a biscuit how nice was that. Lots of little solar panel lights round caravans it was like a little village at night time. I can't wait to come back, Please try this Site you won't be Disappointed.

Disappointed having booked it off the review site i am on! The site is predominantly caravans that are fixed and long term use. Most if not all are fitted with decking around them which actually show up their age badly and also spoils the site!
We chose it because we wanted to visit family and friends from there and thought after looking at all the reviews just how nice a place it should be? Personally felt it to be a place that was in need of refurbing. If the website was to be believed when you are booking from it...you would think that the caravans you see on their photos are actually people turning up to stop over there? Wrong....They are onsite long term . Just check the amount of debris under most of the caravans showing exactly that they are fixed or as fixed as they could or should be.
Sorry if it offends but we actually chose it from a web site and the reviews available for it that made it sound a lot better than what it was.......Just be aware that it really is not what it looks like at all.
If you like to stay on a site that offers a stop over ...then its spot on. Just don't be choosy or complain when you get there. It is what it is....
I would have put photos on here but it was £20 a night we thought it to be CL priced. . We stopped one night and paid for three....that should explain a few things i would have thought? Any way.......Its a personal choice that did not work at all for us.I guess we will not be asked to return . Shame as it could be a really pretty place .
