Absolutely brilliant place. Very basic but shelter as soon as you get there. Tables and chairs, log burner for warmth, gas cookers if needed, beds for leaders. Lovely safe Woods for scouts to explore. Great camping area. Gas and logs included in the price. (Will take a water boiler next time, no hot water was my only negative but not a huge inconvenience as we boiled pans when needed.) You make it good or bad. We had a whale of a time. Will be booking again. Shame on you Thomas Powell. Would like to know why you thought it was so bad. 1st Carmel Scouts.

It was very scary there was a pyscho killer in the woods and there was skeletons in the hut and there was lots of naughty children.
You make it good or bad. We had a whale of a time. Will be booking again.
