Bwlchgwyn Campsite, Aberdaron

A nice and simple camp site with very basic facilities. It is a certified site for the caravan and camping club.
Currently a single loo and separate shower in a container unit but it seems they are currently building a facility block.
There is also pot washing area and chemical toilet disposal point.
All very clean.
A 20-25minute walk takes you to a lovely beach (Aberdaron)

Campsite is fairly small and quiet while also child friendly. Perfect for a relaxing break.

Toilet block looked fairly new. Was always well stocked and lovely and clean. It is split into m/f with 2 toilets and a shower in each. With an outdoor covered washing up area.
Has water point, chemical toilet disposal point and bins next to the toilet block. Nice to see a separate bin for recycling.

Ground was good fairly level though there it’s a slight slope in places.
Lots of water points near each pitch.
Spoke with the site owner who was friendly, spoke on the phone to book, he was out but checked availability and reserved the pitch for me then called me back later that day to confirm and arrange payment.

Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Great little site, lovely clean toilets & shower. 1 mile easy walking into Aberdaron and so close to the coastal paths for walking or running.

This is a lovely little site with 4 hard standing & fully serviced pitches. There are also plenty of grass pitches with EHU, some with water, along with non-serviced pitches, ideal for tents etc.
The shower block is brand new, with only one shower in each of the mens & ladies, but it was fine.
There are plenty of dish washing points with hot water on tap close to the elsan point.
It’s run by a nice couple who keep the site looking nice. Any issues & they act straight away.
It’s about a mile to Aberdaron & the beach along the narrow but lovely country lanes with a footpath passing next to the site entrance which takes you up towards Anelog hill & the Welsh coastal path.

Small camp site in Aberdaron, clean and quiet...lovely.

Really fantastic camp site! We loved it ! It's located close to the amazing beach with crystal clear water ( may be a bit coldish but still god for a swim ) . Many nice walks and other beaches in 10-15min distance (drive) . Owners are very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for quiet and chilled place , look no further! We will be back for sure !

Our second stay here, this time they'd expanded and finished the toilet block. A simple little site, clean, quiet and well placed. A short 3 min drive or hilly 20 min walk to Aberdaron. Whistling Sands beach 10 mins away. Great walks all around.
Dafydd and his wife are lovely and helpful. We will definitely be back. It's a little piece of paradise that captures your heart.

Excellent Campsite - lovely and quiet, great walks to amazing views just behind the site. Short walk to Aberdaron beach - very helpful owners ! 10/10 thoroughly recommended ! We will be back....
