Tyn Rhos Camping Site ravenspoint road trearddur bay ll65 2ax

A lovely relaxed site at our time of visiting- September. Close to beautiful tiny bays with crystal clear water. The showers and toilets are a bit dated but all worked fine. The site managers were very friendly and welcoming. Our sat nav took us to the back gate where there is no access.

Lovely place, dog friendly with a bar on site that's open for all. Coastal walks in either direction are mind blowing so bring a good camera.

Me, my daughter and grandson just had the most wonderful week at Tyn Rhos. The owners Alison and David (and their daughter) are wonderful, really helpful and friendly. The site is amazing great pitching areas, good clean facilities and the bonus of Berts' Bar just outside the gate.
There are a couple of small bays 15/20 mins amble from the site, the roadway to the main beach about 30 mins...I'm a very slow walker.
We're really looking forward to a longer holiday there next year.

I had great stay (2nights). Lovely campsite, with plenty of spaces available and very quiet and peaceful at night. Great base for exploring beautiful island and lovely beaches only short distance away. I'll definitely recommend visit this lovely place. I'll certainly will be coming back again. Big thank you to owners.

We love this place so much, happy memories on The Lee with my children growing up, now back again to make new memories with my three grandsons on Tyn Rhos!! Lovely walks, beaches, shops local, great bars and restaurants in the bay, site manager so very welcoming and helpful and always asking if everything is ok. Little shop is handy as we needed extra pegs and water carriers!! Roll on 2023 for the Ellis family! Ps charlie hated missing out! 😁

If I could give this site less than 1 star I would. For starters we turned up to no personnel on site to let us in and then I was rudely told that I was meant to turn up an hour later, when I was never told a time to be there. This person was rude and not welcoming at all. Site feels like a prison. As the gate was open the person on site made a sarky comment about me blocking the gate. We came away for my father in laws birthday. They were staying in the hotel on the bay. We were then told they wouldn’t be able to visit us on site, I was never told this at time of booking. The coded gate onto site doesn’t open till 7:30am and doesn’t open after 11pm so if your planning on having a late night at a restaurant then don’t as you’ll be locked out. This meant we spent little to no time on site which was a shame as that’s what camping is all about. Facilities on site are atrocious. Showers and toilet block are like stepping back in time. Showers are only open 8am-10pm which is again very strange. Our experience of the site and staff was that bad we left a day early. If your planning on camping at this site then don’t, stay away.

Fantastic Caracan Park. The owners are absolutely wonderful and very friendly, always happy to help. 🌻🌻Clean showers and toilets. 😊😊There is a pub right next to the camp site. Dog friendly. Children will have hours of fun. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿The sea is not far, a lovely walk. The locals are very friendly. Covid safe.
