Stayed here August bank holiday 2021. The location is fantastic. Right next to the beautiful harbour and a short picturesque walk to the town. However the facilities need revamping. There is a nice standalone shower block but the main block is quite basic and lacking - no hot water for washing dishes is a difficult chore. When compared to the facilities provided by other sites around st David’s we’ve stayed at - this was a bit lacking. Reviews by others have commented how good the facilities are-maybe they’ve been updated since our visit. However it’s location second to none. Had our experience of the facilities been better I would definitely have given 5 stars.
I see owner has responded ‘what more for £7 per night’. In fact it was £23 per night without electric hookup and payable showers AND cold water only sinks. Had it been £7 per night i agree I would have expected nothing more

Nice little site right on the coast path, reasonably priced. One small thing is I thought the tents were only allowed in the field in the back due to confusing sign so I could have pitched up near Coast path with a sea view.
Other than that great place to camp.

What a beautiful place to campsite with stunning views. Only a short walk to the harbour. Toilets and showers were clean, however you did have to pay 50p to use the shower but we move. Unfortunately, the customer service was absolutely shocking. The owner/manager of the campsite is a nasty old woman. You’d think from all the bad reviews she’d try and improve her social skills. This woman definitely needs to seek help from a professional. We’ll definitely not be returning but thanks for an entertaining night Thelma.

Been coming here for a few years now, unfortunately the vibe has now deteriorated because of the less than positive welcome from the owner. Surely all these people on here can’t be wrong? (Read the other reviews!) The location is 5 stars but dropping to 2 stars because of the customer service. One bizarre thing this week was she was asking for cash as apparently is now safer than a contactless payment? I think she has forgotten that people all moved to contactless during covid - she was very insistent people wore masks (outside) when checking in, but was quite happy to come and grab your cash?? Very strange. Will be finding a new place for future stays.

Lovely campsite. However, in order to enjoy your stay have as little encounters with the lady in the office as possible.

Lady; if you don’t like people, don’t run a campsite.

One of the most beautiful campsites I have been to. However, my group of friends and I were approached at the campsite being accused of not paying, from the old lady at the kiosk, bare in mind I payed a decent sum for 9 of us.
She then persisted on accusing us of ruining her day as well as saying ‘us young people’ destroy camping, then told us to go to another campsite.
The only fault of ours was accidentally burning a small patch of the grass, we tried to raise the fire we had by putting it in a metal pit (like everyone else in the campsite had), and as soon as we burnt it put it out.
Yes we understand we were wrong but then offered to sort it out ourselves, or even pay for it to be sorted.
She demanded £100 off of us, but as soon as we said no she only demanded £10. We then tried to find £10, but couldn’t, and she kept taunting us saying ‘we must have cash, we must have it’.
You’d think someone would have manors owning a ‘family campsite’ yet apparently for some people that doesn’t apply.
This campsite could be magical, I’ve been coming here for 2 years, and the previous year didn’t have a problem, but after this incident I can’t say I shall be coming back, which is a shame.
But heyho we will just go to Celtic Farm-Campsite like she told us to.

We have been coming here for many years and we absolutely love the campsite, the proximity to St Davids and the wonderful views. We have always had a fantastic time at the campsite and feel Thelma has done a magnificent job keeping the campsite going especially throughout the pandemic, keeping everyone safe. On our latest visit, we left money in the envelope not expecting any change but not only did we get change attached to our tent, it included 50 pence pieces for the showers! So thoughful! Don't listen to the negative reviews. Thelma runs a tight ship for the enjoyment of all! Thanks Thelma for a top stay.

Lovely campsite with amazong views and perfect location for walking, climbing and kayaking and easy access to St Davids. Facilites are good though showers were dirty and could do with a shower broom and sign asking users to clean after use, so that users can wipe the floor after using to enable it to be clean for the next person. ( see example attached in photo) . Also signage to clean washing up area after use amd much clearer signage for recyling as the skip wasnt at all obvious and there was a lot of people putting bottles and cans in general bins. . Otherise a good place to stay.
