Liked: Friendly welcome, lovely simple clean site, basic but nice showers/ toilets, site was pretty and quiet. Just had an all round good atmosphere and was close to beautiful beaches and towns. We don’t have kids, but if you do they’d be very happy on this site. A huge gorgeous field for them to explore.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Peaceful atmosphere with a beautiful view of the sea with Ireland in the distance. Stunning location!! Clean and tidy campsite. Toilets cleaned twice a day to. Friendly welcoming owners to with a great little bar with tasty meal options. Very relaxing and felt safe for our 5&7 year old to play around. Mobile signal excellent with 4g great for Sky mobiles.

Disliked: Sadly the bin area was overflowing due to the council (not campsites fault) The drinking water didn’t taste too good either so take bottled water with you.

Liked: Took our little girls here over the weekend. Guy was so welcoming and friendly. The shower block was clean and cleanliness was encouraged. We got a pitch out of the way which was incredibly peaceful. Cocktails and beers were available and lollies for the little ones! We really had a lovely time. Felt very safe.

Liked: This was a lovely site in a good location. Management were friendly and welcoming and accommodated us to camp with friends. Onsite bar and food available in the evenings and breakfast baps in the mornings was very handy. Close to Aberdaron and the rest of the Penllyn.
Water point to each pitch was great, ground was flat so good for our tent.

Disliked: The bathroom and washing facilities would have benefitted from more regular checks, cleaned daily but the site was busy and there was only 3 cubicle and 2 showers so they were well used, untidy and ran out of hand towels both days we stayed. Dishwasher area, just 1 sink for whole site, this isn't really enough.
A little bit more space in our pitch would have been good

Liked: First camping trip for me and my two boys aged 10 and 13. I requested to be near my sister and family when booking as they are expert campers. Guy the owner welcomed us on arrival and pointed us in the direction of our pitch right next to my sister and family. We had the best time playing badminton, football, cricket, we enjoyed a BBQ, toasting marshmallows with fellow campers and watching the world go by sat around a campfire playing games, storytelling and watching the sunset. Brynllan is a haven for tranquility, it is a lovely site with clean and modern toilet blocks. In the morning you can purchase sausage/ bacon rolls and hot drinks and in the evening the bar opens and you can order food from a small menu and enjoy a pint of cwrw Llyn or a whippy ice cream with a choice of sauces and flake. My sister informs me the food is amazing and the portions huge and I will tell you that the Cwrw Llyn is a good pint ! My eldest enjoyed a bacon roll on the morning we left, he most certainly was not left hungry! They also sell their own honey, it was lovely to see so many little bees buzzing around the wild meadow

There is a lovely pizza place called Crasu within walking distance, about 400m from the site. My sister tells me it has had a huge refurb since last year and you can now eat pizza and enjoy a pint under roof. It does have a large outdoor area too with a huge fire pit My boys got very excited as it hosts airsoft parties.

The camping site is close to Whistling Sands, about 2 miles away and is managed by National Trust. Parking is £5 for the day. It has a lovely cafe serving breakfasts, cake, sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes etc and you can purchase paddle boards, bucket and spades, beach games etc and delicious icecream. There are toilets not far from the cafe.

We booked for two nights and ended up staying for 3. We now have the camping bug and are planning our summer 2023 camping trip to Brynllan Thank you all at Brynllan for making our first camping adventure a memorable one.

Liked: Hook up for tent and drinking water tap right next to tent which was super handy to have clean running water too. Wi-Fi worked really well so my son could watch Disney+ in the evenings. Really clean toilet and shower blocks. Great that there also is a wash up room meaning you could wash dirty dishes easily. Close to beautiful beaches like Porth Iago and Whistling sands.

Disliked: Pitch was close to back road with one night some cars driving incredibly fast late in the evening which kept me awake however this isn’t the fault of the camping site at all.
