Fantastic campsite right in the heart of North Wales located in a magical forest. Beddgelert Campsite is our goto site for a weekend walking or cycling in North Wales or even for just a relaxing weekend away in the forest. The local roads are a little daunting for a large outfit so we avoid peak travel times. The site has an excellent facilities block, but it's the pitches right in amongst the trees of the forest that make it.

Stayed twice now, fantastic campsite hidden in the forest.
The sounds of nature are a joy with birds and the stream running by. Being remote means the sky is dark so the stars really show up. Hard standing pitches are large and well spaced but most are not flat. The facilities are dated but kept clean and work. The showers are hot and the block is heated.
Twice we woke up and opened the van door to find local rogue sheep wandering round. You don’t get that on many campsites!
The bake house is great, especially as it’s almost impossible to drop into a pub and get food.
I just wish other forest holidays sites had campsites

Wonderful location, great for walking, birding (pied flycatcher showing well) steam railway (Welsh mountain narrow gauge runs through site). Excellent facilities and friendly welcome. Highly recommended.

Fantastic campground. Walked the Snowdonia Way through Snowdonia national park. This campground is a little out of the way if that's what you're doing, but well worth the detour. Lots of room to pitch a tent, close to a stream (bring ear plugs as it can be loud). They also have a little cafe and shop for snacks, as well as a restaurant. Shower and bathroom facilities were fairly clean. Lots of space to put your items when showering. Also appear to have the option to rent bikes (which we didnt look into). They also have cabins to rent out.

We had a wonderful stay here a couple of weeks ago. The village is a nice walk from the campsite, about 20 mins/ half an hr but longer with 2 kids lol! It is really well positioned, half an hour in the car gets you all over. We loved the site and will definitely go back but you need to pre book your trips and evening meals in the village.

No complaints. Does exactly what it says. Toilets cum showers are clean with shower gel. Staff were great too. And you can order food, including a curry.

If your into camping. This site is absolutely immaculate. Twin mountains either side of the site Plenty of activities and walks around the site.
Site made pizza and shops within the site.
Only down side is there is absolutely no service in or around the site.
