We stayed with our 3 children for 5 nights & had a gorgeous time. The Yurts are super cosy even on a chillier night & the communal kitchen has everything you need. There's a pizza oven which we conquered & the site is magical. Avril made us feel so welcome & we will miss her! The local area is beautiful too. We will definitely return.

Such a special place! Peaceful, pretty setting with fully functioning, clean facilities. Avril and her son fitted us in at very short notice, and made us feel so welcome. Can’t wait to book another visit.

This place is just majical, we spent two wonderful nights in the most beautiful picturesque surroundings. Avril is a wonderful host and will make sure you have a comfortable and relaxing stay. Nothing is to much trouble she is a beautiful soul. Cae Wennol Yurts are just a ten minute drive from Conwy and everything is on your doorstep. There is a local pub serving great food just a short walk away. Convenience shops are a short drive away too. The communal kitchen and relaxing area has everything you need on hand regarding plates, pans glasses, cuttlery etc.. Each yurt has its own dedicated toilet shed, each having duel toilets and a hand wash basin, all the toilets and shower are situated together by the communal area, there is 1 shower shed with hot controllable running water. There are 3 traditional Mongolian Yurts 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green, they are spread out and not next to eachother, making it more private. Each yurt is in its own private area, with a bbq and oven firepit and chairs. We had the luxury of the Celynnin Yurt (the green one) this is the biggest of the 3 Yurts, it sleeps 6. One double bed and two couches that fold out to sleep a further two on each. Ideal for families. Within the communal areas there is plenty of seating for dining and relaxing, numerous fire pits, tables, armchairs, blankets, cushions. There is a wood burning arga a gas hob, a fridge freezer and a separate fridge for communal use. There is a realy good picnic area on top of the mound with a traditional pizza oven and BBQ, ideal for larger families and get togethers this truly is a remarkable place for getting away from it all. If you need Internet, you will have to access your own mobile data, signal was very good for me. I am with 3mobile and did not have a problem accessing my Internet or receiving calls. The car park is a small field away from the Yurts, there are wheel barrows to load your personal belongings into to take to your yurt, great idea! It is a field pathway so good walking boots are needed if your not steady on your feet. There are pond areas within the fairy forest which is where the Celynnin yurt is, however the whole area is gated and fenced off so small children can not just walk to it. I can not recommend this place enough, we will be returning very soon and look forward to bringing all our family where we can create new wonderful memories together 💝

Beautiful place. Only issue was I couldn't master the shower which was either too cold or boiling hot.. Otherwise would give it 5 stars.

Actually stayed at the Shepherds Retreat. Bijou, cosy and had everything we needed (including fresh eggs from Avril's hens!) Beautiful tranquil area. Lovely base from which to explore.

Oh how what a beautiful secret hideaway is this group of 3 yurts.. hidden away from civilisation yet only few minutes out of Conwy. The most chilled 3 nights I have had in years, and my 15 yr old son thought it was fantastic. The dog loved it too. Avril the owner is helpful, friendly and wonderful host, a lovely lady. Booking again as quick as we can. *****
