Erw Glas Campsite

Liked: We stayed in the deluxe bell tent. It was beautiful, clean, cozy and we loved the extra touches like the coat rack, soft furnishings and fairy lights. The shared kitchen area was well equipped. The campsite is small, which we loved, and very clean and well maintained. Owners were really helpful and friendly. Excellent location and a short journey to the beaches and local towns. The views of the mountains are incredible. They had a pizza and pudding evening which we really enjoyed in the wedding area. With fairy lights, camp fire and bar.
We will definitely visit again!

Liked: Pristine campsite, lovely clean facilities and little extras for the kids like play areas, footballs, swings etc.
Lovely owners, good communication, very helpful.
We loved the shop and breakfast options/ice creams and various things available. Fresh eggs were amazing!
The fire pit hire and kindling bags available to buy at reasonable prices were a great idea.
The chickens were lovely to see each seeing around the site.
View are really special, very pretty area for a campsite.

Disliked: No porch on the bell tent so, as there was four of us, there wasn’t a lot of room for cooking or making a hot drink when the weather was inclement.
Vehicles are parked away from the tent so make sure you have everything you need, we’re used to having our vehicle with us for cooking etc but trolleys are provided so no problem getting things to the tent.
Getting out of the campsite onto the road just be careful as it’s on a bend but beautiful area, close to beach and walks.

Liked: Fabulous campsite, clean and well maintained. Visiting chickens and rooster, play equipment in the trees and spacious pitches allowed us to have a great stay. The Shepards huts looked tremendous and would love to visit in the future. The location couldn't be better and views over the mountains were very special. Super clear sky at night and even saw a shoot start with my 8 year old! we will certainly be back.

Liked: Great site, showers & toilets spotless,fabulous views with the added bonus of the owners chickens coming to visit our tent in a morning, speaking of the owners really nice helpful people.
Had a great weekend camping after a 30 year break!
Cannot fault anything about this place.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: We loved it me & my sister really had a great relaxing time. I would highly recommend it to everyone..I cant wait for next year to go back with all my family...could not fault a thing Rachael & Alan were lovely..ww had a great night on the 1st day which was pizza,pint & pudding night it was fab ...THANK YOU FOR A GREAT STAY..LOVELY CLEAN CAMP SITE.

Disliked: NOTHING

Liked: Small quiet site, perfect location where it was peaceful and amazing views but very easily accessible. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

Disliked: Not many toilets or showers sometimes had to wait to use them.

Liked: It was gorgeous. Lovely and chilled. Sitting in the sunshine with a coffee looking over the snowdonia mountains is glorious. Definitely somewhere to go to just rest, relax and reset. Will definitely go again.

Disliked: Would probably go a little earlier in the year for better weather but it’s wales. It can snow in July!

Had the most amazing time at Erw Glas Campsite. We’ve been twice it was so good. First time in a family shepherd hut which is so quirky, we loved it. Second time we hired the cottage which is decorated beautifully. The hot tub is a real treat. You are welcomed with a little goody hamper which is a special touch. The breakfast hampers are also amazing (at an extra cost).

The staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. The site is meticulously clean - by far the best shared bathroom facilities I’ve ever been to!

Location is fantastic - so much to do in the local area - we will definitely be back.
