Taihirion Farm Campsite

Enjoyed a few days here staying over a busy period. Alan gave us the choice of a pitch in the front field (more families) or a quieter spot in the back field. We went for the latter and enjoyed a few sunsets from the tent! There’s a tap at the back too so don’t need to walk far for water. Facilities were well kept if a little basic, they had homemade pizzas on offer in evenings as well as ice cream van doing the rounds. Honesty box for the bare essentials with some farm produce was a good touch too. You can also pay to charge your mobile phone up… seems all plugs elsewhere are closed up. Would happily stay again, just wish there was a few extra sinks in the side kitchen to save queuing up to wash your pots. A hairdryer in both Mens and Women’s would be welcome too! Pro-tip, the earlier you use the showers, the warmer the water will be… this only was noticeable when peak weekend and the site was busier. That said, everything was really well spaced out and felt private enough to fully enjoy!

Excellent campsite for both tents and caravans. Spotless facilities, hairdryer 20p in shower block and there is also washer/dryer for clothes. Honesty shop for basics too.
We had beautiful views for miles, however the down side if this was we had a couple of very windy days, so just take heavy duty tent pegs and you will be fine.
The owner was great and even helped out some families at 7am when they ran into tent trouble...nothing was too much bother!
Would certainly recommend, good location, about 10mins from Menai. Benllech and Red Warf.

Hi, my son and his wife and there 2 boys booked in for bank holiday weekend, We called up to see them on Sunday 28/08/22 had a lovely time, I was very impressed with the campsite it was very clean and well run by the owner. Xx

Great spot to camp, very clean and tidy facilities, good location for exploring the surrounding area and beaches, only suggestion would be to increase the number of sinks for washing up (only 1 on site)
Great to have the shop on site with local products, lovely, we’ll be back!

Nice place to pitch. showers not great, dribble water, nowhere to put wash stuff shower on a timer. Wifi is extra & service/signal awful. Cute little shop, friendly people.

Just got back after a great week at the site. Site is clean and well set up, Alun and his family are always on hand to help. Definitely will be going back

I stayed here Aug bank holiday it’s a beautiful site and extremely clean. Alan is a great guy any issues and he’s happy to help. I look forward to my stay there again next year.

Amazing campsite. Facilities lovely and clean showers are hot. Plenty of space for the kids to play on the field. Children loved going across the road to watch the cows being milked. Alun was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and things to do. Greatly priced would recommend and definitely stay again!
