Fantastic campsite, my 7 year old daughter loved it especially the tree rope swing right next to the tent pitches. The facilities were excellent, liked the idea of a seperate washroom from the toilets, and the showers were nice. Staff at the reception were very helpful.

Definitely coming back for another stay. Just bear in mind the road leading to the campsite is very narrow, did have a bit of fun pulling my trailer tent along!

This was our first visit to the site and wow we loved every second. The site itself is stunning and very spacious. All the pitches are very big which is great as the size of tents is getting larger and larger.
The toilets, showers and washrooms are pristine. They were more like hotel bathrooms than campsite bathrooms. The washing up area is large and also immaculate. There is is laundrette but I did not need to use it on this occasion.
The location is fantastic, such a beautiful area with stunning walks right from the site itself. The waterfalls are beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
Gorgeous ice creams are sold on site.
Showers are 50p for 5 minutes which is completely understandable as it’s more to limit the water usage than to make any financial profit.
The only tiny thing I could say is (feedback from the hubby) more male toilets and showers as there are only 2 toilets and 2 showers so not ideal first thing when everyone needs to use the facilities at the same time.
Ladies however have 4 showers and 4 toilets and I never once had to wait.
The owners are lovely and can’t do enough to help you. We arrived late and this was accommodated.
Overall I couldn’t recommend this site more. Perfect

Nantcol Waterfalls Campsite has to be the most beautiful campsite that I have had the pleasure of stating on. The Waterfalls are amazing, the river flows through the campsite with a cute picnic island in the middle where the river splits in to two. There is a wooded area for lots of adventures with kids or pets.

The facilities are of a good standard, including laundry room. All of a good size and the showers are great!! There is a little reception/shop and the staff are always very polite and helpful.

There is no phone signal, so it is a great place to visit to relax and go off grid. You are able to purchase Internet access if needed, but the signal coverage on the site is patchy.

I will certainly be back again.

Truly beautiful place! Lots of amazing scenery. The river walk is not too challenging with rocks and hills to climb up an over, the views are worth it!! £3 per car for parking which is a good price expecially if you have a car full. Take a picnic and drinks to enjoy at the top with the mountains for your backdrop.

What a fabulous site, beautiful scenary, spotless facilities and beautiful streams and waterfall on site. Staff where more than helpful. Not the greatest access road, can not be helped but worth it.... pitches perfect in size and well spaced out. Would return in a heart beat.

Had an excellent stay. The campsite has many good pitches, some with electric hookup. The wifi is availible at a reasonable fee, dogs are welcome and the toilets are clean. Not far from some nice walks too. Would stay again.

We stayed here in a campervan in September 2022. We managed to get a spot overlooking to river and weir, which made for a great view. Fantastic walks from the site - we did short ones to the waterfall and around the local countryside, as well as a longer one up onto Rhinog Fawr and down the Roman Steps. The waterfall is beautiful - I went for a few morning dips which was very refreshing. The facilities were high standard and very clean, and the team were super friendly too! Would definitely recommend - we'll 100% be visiting again.

Beautiful campsite with an excellent view of the Ocean and Runswick bay with a fun and steep walk down. 10 min drive from Whitby with whale spotting and fishing trips. The campsite has warm showers and clean toilets, a freezer and washing up facilities.
