Lovely site, good facilities although lights need to stay on longer in the showers!
Was very quiet when we went so can't speak for high season. Chris and Kevin are great owners friendly and helpful.
Fabulous views of Snowdonia. Lovely walk to the beach, best to turn right from the campsite and go down the lane. Anglesey is easy to drive around and there are some amazing beaches to visit.

This is an excellent campsite. Reviews here giving an opposite view are clearly missing the main things this campsite offers: spacious pitches, clean facilities, great location with some of the best sea and mountain views in the UK (in comparison I include places like Elgol on Skye), generally quiet except some traffic noise from the adjacent road and the occasional fly over from military aircraft in/out of RAF Valley, and friendly owners.

Being from an architectural background I could list a load of niggles and things that could improve but it really isn't worth doing because that would be to nit-pick rather than be helpful. If you a want 5* south of France campsite then go to the south of France. Enjoy the drive.

PS.
The pictures show views from our pitch 31 adjacent to the road looking west and southwest + a look at the campsite entrance, and the exit from Newborough Warren (forest) looking back towards the road that leads to the campsite.

It is a nice small and flat campsite, pitches are quite spacious. 2 ladies, 2 gents toilets and 3 shared showers. Light goes out in the shower room after 10 minutes which doesn't give you much time.
Lots of site rules, pity that some campers don't obey them.
30-40 minutes walk to the beautiful beach.

Situated close to the best beach in the UK. Good size pitches. Quiet times adhered to. Only negative was the men's toilets which are below standard.. The owner has plans to refurbish them so we look forward to revisiting in the future.

Lovely campsite- we stayed in a campervan we hired, the campsite had everything needed- electric hook-up, showers, clean toilets, washing-up area, could dispose of waste water etc. and dog-friendly. We paid £6 for a late check out so we could spend the day at the beach which is walking distance and beautiful. The surrounding area is really lovely. There is a premier shop about 15 minute walk away.

Fantastic site!! If you like walking and cycling this is the place to be.. Been here a week and sad to go home tomorrow.. Have to mention Ken (the groundsman) he recommended walks we didn't know #Holyhead mountain.. What a great day that was.. This has ticked all boxes away from our stressful jobs. Thank you 😊, Vicky & Gary.. See you again soon!
