Excellent value for money site. We paid £10 a night for a family tent without hook up. It's in a good area, close to lots of things to do, walks, theme parks etc. The site has a clean toilet, shower, but no washing up facilities yet. The top of the site is near to the main road but it is higher so in wet weather is probably more popular. We had a friendly welcome by the owner who explained where everything was and allowed us to choose where to pitch. There were lovely walks into the woods at the bottom of the site, we only ventured in once as the weather was so wet, in fact we only stayed for one night as we had an issue with our tent leaking and eventually tearing. The owner was kind and let us use some of their towels to mop up. Would def return in better weather.

Perfect for simplistic camping!

We stayed on Tuesday 20th June 2017 for one night and we were the only ones on the sight which was just perfect! The facilities are all fine and suitable for your average camper. The owners were so friendly and full of useful information about the local beaches and what the campsite had to offer. They allowed us to us a disposable BBQ which was great because of the beautiful weather! We had a BBQ and the useless disposable thing died on us when we still had food left so the owner came out and let us use their BBQ and he sorted it out for us! We both felt this was exceptional hospitality when we were only paying £12 a night for both of us!

We would both recommend for people just looking to get away from things or anybody just passing through looking for a cheap night with all the facilities you could want.

Keep up the good work Valley Campsite from two very happy little campers!

Basic facilities, but as much as you need for stripped back camping. Tents are spacious and dry, and the beds are as comfortable as any I've used for camping (we had a futon in fact). The road is close by but the noise didn't trouble us at all. Run by friendly, helpful people. Loved it.

We have just returned from a week stay at the Valley Campsite. I'm afraid we copped out and went for the luxury of the Caravan. Everything was very clean an it is equipped with everything you could need. The campsite itself is great and the Bell Tents look really inviting. The walk down to Amroth beach is well worth it, and there are other local walks included in the info pack in the caravan.
Celia and Ian are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble and one of them appears to be always available to help or offer advice about the locality.

This was the first time we had been camping, last minute and very rushed! We absolutely loved every moment and the hosts could not have been more helpful. Anything you need or want just ask and they are more than willing to resolve and help. Lovely place and lovely people. Would definitely come back 👍

Just returned from a 11 night stay. Would not recommend it. The entrance is very tight for touring vans. The road noise is terrible as just off A377 (field next to road). We knew it was basic but only 2 showers open due to water issue which owner knew about. Showers were either cold or boiling or no water? Tap for drinking water had no drain so caused a muddy puddle. Electric tripped half the site and static van on trip in house. Only saw owner when arriving. They knew our large party were coming since January and therefore you would think they would have fixed the water issue before 9 days into our holiday?

NB. I'd give 3.5 stars if I was able to

Bell tents are basic but nice enough, facilities the same, campsite owners were really lovely & ever so helpful (including the owners' son) & both were very good with our 8yo son, the outer reaches of the campsite estate are full of simply stunning scenery and are a must see. But...the noise of the constant heavy traffic roaring away throughout the night about 80 yards from our tent, combined with partygoers/caravanners 20 yards away in an adjacent field (same campsite) who sang bad karaoke ('atrocious' level bad) with the same song on repeat, night after night, meant no-one got any good sleep throughout our stay.

Very welcoming, the owner pulled us out of a hole when the site we had booked let us down. Very close to the A477. When we arrived they had just started road works with traffic lights outside the site entrance.

The site is convenient for both seaside and inland exploration.
