Liked: Immaculate showers and toilets, very peaceful setting with very pretty views of the river and mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our little dog enjoyed the walk along the river.

Disliked: No signal on the phone, but there was an option to pay for Wi-Fi.
I chose not to as I welcomed the break from my phone, so this wasn’t a negative for me.

Liked: Very friendly site managers, kind enough to lend us an extension lead for our electric hookup. Facilities were always clean, handy access to a fridge freezer, toaster and microwave, WiFi was good quality. Quiet site, very scenic.

Disliked: Toilet block was a little far from the camping pitches, but not a great inconvenience.

Liked: The setting was beautiful, by the stream and under trees. Perfect in hot weather as it's shaded.
Our little girl really enjoyed playing in the stream.
Wardens helpful and friendly.
Campsite was immaculate and very well maintained.
Campsite it's self was easy to find.
The shower block is brilliant, it had an individual toilet an shower, aswell as two rooms with shower/toliet. Private and very clean.
Showers do turn themselves off after 30seconds but wasn't too much of an issue.

Disliked: Poor wifi/phone signal so it's worth screenshotting some postcodes ready for the sat nav when you travel out. We did use the WiFi on the campsite but it's a bit flaky (wardens did warn us of this).

Campsite isn't within walking distance of shops/decent pubs etc so you'll need a car to get about easily.

There is also directions to the local pub, the walk is lovely..but the pub is awful. Definitely avoid.

Liked: It was my first camping trip and boy, I've picked a good place to go to!

I showed up 3 h later than my estimated arrival time, but it was not a problem. Was welcomed by a lovely Caroline at the reception, where I was given the map of the site and explained whats and wheres. She and Roy are stars, nothing is too much for them, they are funny, chatty and simply just lovely, making my short stay even more enjoyable. They were also able to easily point me to the nearby (15 min by car) waterfall that I went to see on my way back home, but I believe they have way more up their sleeves.

I was able to pitch my tent next to the river and fall asleep to the sounds of stream (and sheep), what was absolutely lovely. There are mountains all around, stunning views is why I picked this campsite in the first place. I was unlucky with the weather and was staying for only 1 night, but there were benches with a table to sit on and have your meal or morning coffee.

The kitchen and toilets were spotless. Very clean, had everything and even more: fridge, toaster, microwave, only a kettle was missing and it would be perfect, but I understand that majority of people have their own kettle, stove etc. and I am just inexperienced and still perfecting my camping equipment.

In short - I couldn't pick a better place to go, especially for my first camping. If you are in doubts if you should go there for any reason, such as weak phone signal or internet - don't, this place is too beautiful and too enjoyable to miss it just because of a phone signal.

Me and my mansion of a tent will be back :)

Disliked: - They don't allow dogs for tents :(
- No signal (but normal in this location)
- Wi-Fi was free, but very, veeery weak and often not working

Liked: This camp site is exceptional, the surroundings were beautiful, the facilities spotless. We had a hard standing plot with electric hook up for our camper which was in the perfect location next to a stream and great views.
WiFi was available on site and worked perfectly.
The lady in the office was lovely and very accommodating.
There is also two pubs within a 10 minute walk along the river.
Our plot also had running water hookup.
Great value and would highly recommend.

Liked: Lovely site in a beautiful area! Really easy to find. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Camping field was nice and level, sheltered from wind, close to the river with plenty of picnic tables. Shower block was extremely clean, lovely and warm (perfect for the colder months). Free WiFi worked great all over the site. Short walk to the nearest pub.

Disliked: Nothing really to dislike. Couple of notes to point out, you park away from your tent (very short walk) so there are some steps to carry gear down. If you don't like rivers then that might be an issue.

Liked: Oh my what a gem of a place!
Panoramic mountain views, a river running alongside our motorhome, total serenity and relaxation, stunning views every which way.
We were welcomed by the very friendly owners, set up easily with ehu and water at our pitch. Everything was very quick and simple.
The dog walk was literally a minute away taking you by the riverside. All nice and flat to walk on. You can walk to the pub easily from here, too, if you fancy a pint and a bite to eat.
The pitches were very level and the whole site spotlessly clean. I showered in the moho but hubby used the shower block which was heated, and the spotlessly clean showers nice and hot.
The site was full but you wouldn't know as nothing blocked your view. The chalets are at the back so you are not overlooking them and your motorhome sits ditectly alongside the river.
We didn't see any kids play area but there were children there who looked to be enjoying themselves.
We have our own WiFi, for the first time even that wouldn't work at the site. This was no problem for us, as we hadn't gone to sit on our phones but enjoy the peace and quiet.
We absolutely loved this site, came home and rebooked ,which is unusual as we never stay the same place twice 😀

Disliked: Couldn't empty grey water, moho couldn't get over grid. No problem though.
