Totally fab.. we stayed with our 8yr old daughter and 9yr old niece for 2 night's and it was great fun.. the amenities are spotlessly clean and well supplied.. the kitchen has many appliances, cutlery & crockery and it also has a few outdoor toys 4 the kids 2 play with.. the pods fitted us all 2 sleep with a double air bed on the floor but on a cold night we ended up going to bed quite early because u had no where to sit as the beds were made up and in the way..the little wooded area is fab the kids loved it.. the campfire went down a treat with them.. the road to the site is a single track road and has alot of potholes but ok as long as you took your time.. an outside socket would be a suggestion as the kids were inside watchin a DVD in bed and it would have been nice to have been able to plug a radio in for ourselves outside in the porch area.. Alison came to meet us on our 1st night to make sure everything was ok.. what a lovely woman thank you.. our stay was amazing and we're looking forward to our next visit. Thank you.

Yet another fabulous Bank holiday spent at the pods. It's such a lovely place for children to play out in the open air. No X box, no phones. . Facilities are great with clean toilets showers and kitchen. Deffinately a good value family holiday place..

Fab experience in insulated hut
Can fit family in there but would need to use floor space as one double pull out bed
We went as a couple and it has clean facilities on site e.g shared kitchen and toilets

Minimal, quiet, I could fill this review with adjectives to justify why you should go! Do you like a quiet camping trip? Forget the tent, pick good friends/family to take with you and take everything else you would take to a camping trip and enjoy the serenity Picket Pods gives you! I would rate it 10 stars if they were available!

Spent a fantastic evening here recently with a group of children on a wellbeing trip. Spotlessly clean, Alison was also super helpful and lent us an extension lead so we could hook up a projector in the shed area to watch the Euros semi final.

The children spent all day in the field playing all sorts of sports and exploring the woods. Great BBQ set up and kitchen was perfect for our group. A highlight was toasting marshmallows over the camp fire. A hidden gem in the Vale, perfect for a switch off. Thank you Alison and the staff for being so helpful and accommodating.
