Liked: Amazing position, with a great view. Also great position to explore the area.
The caravan was very clean and had everything we needed, all working well. There were also books and dvds available, besides flyers and booklets to find information about the local areas. It is an ideal place for children as they could play outside - the owners also left some toys for them to play (boules and rackets). Niki and her family were friendly and it is great they also run a bar onsite. We would definitely go back there when we plan another holiday in the area.

Liked: The location was superb with views across the countryside. A special treat was watching red kites flying overhead in the morning.

The owners are extremely friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. The pitches slope quite steeply, so be prepared to level up your van. Having said that, the owners are prepared to lend you levelling ramps if you need them.

The toilets and showers are in three self-contained rooms, and even though we stayed there in the summer holidays, when the site was busy, we were always able to use these facilities when we wanted to. They were kept lovely and clean.

Disliked: Our pitch was near to the road, and we found it very noisy at night with cars passing at speed (there is meant to be a 30 mph speed limit!). However, I do realise that this is beyond the control of the owners. It’s also possible that traffic was heavier while we were there, due to the Eisteddfod in Tregaron.

The only reason I’ve knocked off a star, is because the washing up water was always cold, which didn’t feel very hygienic. All water in the wash-hand basins and showers was fine, so I’m not sure why the washing up sink was different.

Liked: We had the best week at Penuwch Caravan and Camping site.

The owners were a lovely couple who were very helpful and friendly throughout. They recommended different places to visit and eat at. They were very accommodating to all our needs.

Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean
3 shower rooms with toilets one of them being a larger disabled access bathroom.

Views were outstanding and we loved seeing the red kites and the chickens in the bottom field each day.

Liked: The owners Nicky and Julian were excellent from when we arrived to waving goodbye.

The site is immaculately maintained, facilities as brilliant, 3 toilet and wet room style shower rooms are great (one being larger and disability friendly).

Outdoor washing-up facilities are great and electric hookup was simple.
The views are really special, your quite high up and often I was sat watching the wildlife, the Red Kites especially flying around and above the site.

The huge grass space in the middle was great for the little ones, a few campers had children like us so keeping an eye on them was easy as pie, at the bottom of the site the resident chickens are bobbing about, and the children loved spotting them.

The Bar opens on Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. This is a great place to have a cozy drink and have a laugh with other campers and Nicky and Julian themselves, who couldn't be friendlier or more helpful.

Very peaceful, amazing views, being so high up the night sky are something to be seen to be believed and we couldn't have asked for anything more for our camping holiday.

Will certainly be booking again!

Liked: The owners were really welcoming, offered lots of help if needed. The site was quiet, the toilets and showers where spotlessly clean. There's a onsite bar and the drinks are a reasonable price. Tregaron which is a 20 min drive has shops and the best Chinese (cash only) and takeaway I've ever tasted. I'd definitely visit again.

Liked: The owners where lovely, straight out to help us, offered us a choice of a couple of spaces.
We where on the slope but it was fine for us but may not be good for others.
Toilets where always clean and stocked
When we where leaving ot was getting busier so may have been harder to get in to them without a wait.

A fantastic small(ish) campsite with 15 large pitches, all with electric hookup.
Lovely warm welcome from Nicky and Julian who were great company in their onsite bar.
3 very clean shower rooms, 1 with good disabled access.
Watching the kites in the morning was spectacular.
Definitely recommend this site to anyone....we will certainly be returning.
