South Cockett Caravan & Camping

Love this campsite. The managers and owners work extremely hard and this is clear with the cleanliness and overall feeling of the site. Nothing is too much trouble.
They have a vending machine with cool drinks and treats. Washing machine and microwave and freezers for campers.
The pitches are well spread out and they will go out the their way with change for the showers. They are currently building a new shower block which should be open next year.
We will return! Thank you val, Jim, will and Steve for our lovely holiday.

Visited with the family for 8 days. Really enjoyed the site. Its nice and quiet with plenty of space for the kids to run and around play.

The showers were slightly small and dated with no space to get changed in a "dry" area but they are investing and building a new shower block.

The owners were very welcoming and we would definitely visit again.

Liked: Large open spaces pitches which provides a great atmosphere. Clean grounds and environmentally friendly. I was greeted by Val the owner gave a VIP guide tour and showed us to our camp spot. Something which was very delightful.
Local towns were in waking distance or shuttle bus when available. Amenities are being updated so will be even more convenient. Will be back a few times next year 😊

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. However wonderful to see they are building a new shower/toilet block!

Liked: Its got flat pitches with short grass making setting up our van and awning easy and comfortable. It's a very neat, well maintained site with lots of space. The greeting on arrival was lovely. So friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Paying 20p per 4 mins in showers. I dislike this in any site

Fab location. Val and Jim extremely helpful and friendly. Spacious pitch. Despite it being a busy Bank Holiday weekend, there was no queuing for the showers and not noisy.
Laundry room, microwaves, freezers and vending machines all nice added extras.
We were 2 families, one with a camper and one with a tent and Val very kindly pitched us together.

Liked: Friendly, warm welcome on arrival. We were told to go & find a pitch that we liked & set up which, we thought was a great idea. Plenty of space between pitches.
Very peaceful & clean site, plenty of recycling bins. Washing machine, dryer, microwave & freezer all available to use at no extra cost. Vending machine with soft drinks & snacks available 24hrs.
Val & Jim were lovely & very knowledgeable about the area. You could quite often see them riding about on their bikes & were happy to stop for a chat.
A new shower block is being built but the workmen are very respectful & don't start work until 9.30am. Val is always available if you need more 20 pences for the shower. Yes the coin box is outside of the shower but if you plan it & get yourself ready beforehand then, pop a towel around yourself & stick your head out, its fine. I've long hair so thought I'd try 40p but found I was just hanging about waiting for the water to stop.
It wasn't until the day we were leaving that, we realised how big the site actually is, with lots of electric hook ups
It's a short drive to a large supermarket & within easy reach of Broad Haven, Tenby & Havorfordwest.
We will definitely be back

Disliked: Nothing

Warm welcome, level grass pitch with great views, electric, huge space, water close too. Visit was mid September so very quiet. Good clean facilities, if a little dated.. new ones being built. Remember to turn on electric to shower Before putting 20p in. Hot shower ran for plenty of time. It's in the book for a return visit.

Liked: This was a great stay. The campsite is very well maintained and has everything you'd need. All the toilets and showers are kept very clean. Our hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They helped us source some addition things for our tent and even gave us recommendations for where to head next on our road trip. A very lovely site and we defiantly stay again.

Disliked: Site is quite high up, so it can get a little bit windy.
