Liked: A lovely, quiet campsite with good basic facilities including hot showers. Owners were very laid back and helpful and was a great place to stay with our 2 children as a base to explore the beautiful welsh surroundings.

Disliked: Maybe some wooden duck boards would be good for the bathrooms to have somewhere to stand after getting out the shower as the floors were a bit muddy in the bathroom from people walking in and out from the outdoors. No reception or wifi also but we embraced that!

Liked: Quiet field with plenty of pitches of a good size.Play park for the children to make friends and grass area to play on. Toilet and shower facilities acceptable for the time we were there. Friendly owners who also had own homemade ice cream for sale at reasonable price.

Disliked: The pitch we were allocated to stay on was uneven so pitching the tent was tricky to make sure sleeping was comfortable but managed 2 find a suitable angle within the space.
Toilets and shower unit bog standard could do with a bit of tlc as wooden built. Play park small and dated wood house braking apart.
No camp shop on site for essentials but co-op in lampeter 10 mins drive away.

Liked: Really good facilities (toilet and shower block) always clean and well maintained. Showers were lovely and hot! Campsite has a small play area which the children loved. Plus the two farm dogs were a big hit, the kids loved playing fetch with them. We had a fire and the campsite was lovely and quiet and you could see all the stars! Very near to local amenities (Sainsbury in Lampeter was lovely and close) and only an hour from most beaches and days out. Plus the ice cream made on site was delicious and the owners were very friendly.

Liked: Great site, friendly atmosphere, close by to other great little villages and towns.
Toilets and shower facilities was close by and regualry stocked up of toilet roll, hand towels. Washing up area great little touch. Never got to try the homemade ice cream on site but heard they was amazing. Owners leave you to it but when we did meet them they was lovely. Was great waking up one morning to sheep grazing a few meters away. Free log burners to use which was great and could purchase logs from owners. We had the best time and didnt want to come home. My two children who are never far from there devices spent majority of the time there playing with other kids on the park or the great greenary that all pitches surround. Even my pre teen sat with us around the fire playing cards in the evening. Great bonding time. Felt the kids was safe there at all times. Looking forward to next time.

Disliked: Signal wasn't great so to try and look at maps to go somewhere we did have to venture out but was a good excuse to look for a quaint cafe for breakfast.

Liked: Loved how rural it is and how friendly the family that own it is. It also has homemade ice cream which is a lovely touch.
It was so nice in the evenings as everyone was quiet which was lovely with small children.

Disliked: The shower block could do with a bit of tlc and unfortunately one family at the end of the stay was loud until the early hours.

Liked: We spent a few days in Bothy Hut, which is located in a secret garden at the turn of August and September 2022. We relaxed wonderfully surrounded by greenery which ensured discretion and intimacy in silence, away from the hustle and bustle. We know few places where we sleep as well as here. The field kitchen is a great idea, so we prepared all meals in this kitchen and spent evenings by the fire. A 10-minute drive to Lampeter, where you can do shopping, also has its advantages, and a 30-minute drive to the ocean (Celtic Sea) is a big advantage. Great location and we will definitely be back.

Liked: Lovely little site mainly quiet, shower facilities 4 showers 6 toilets, washing up area, bin area. Dog friendly, has farm dogs about who were very friendly. Fires permitted and fire pits provided. Small play area for the kids. Electric hook up available. The real bonus was you could purchase their own ice cream from the farm itself. You definitely need to drive to places from here as quite remote.

Liked: Firstly I don't know why a previous review was so negetive. If you want 5 star facilities stay in a hotel. Your camping.
If people wiped there feet before entering then the grass wouldn't get tracked in.

The showers are in a wooden building which has shall we say has matured.
There's one loo and two showers with loo. Plus two showers the other side.

There's a welcome hut just passed the play area. There's a board inside with your pitch number.
If you have free choice where to pitch, it's worth noting that the top pitches don't get the sun first thing in the morning.
Pitches are numbered and of a good size.
Lampeter is 3 miles away but there is a shop mile in the other direction.
Very friendly Collies on site.

Disliked: Pitches do slope a bit. Vans may need levelling ramps.
Looking at the photos the site looks bigger than it is.
Grass getting tracked into showers (people not cleaning shoes) not sites fault.
