Shawsmead Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

It's a typical C&MC club site, set in lovely surroundings, it's only about a 50 pitch site, so it should be nice & quiet! The roads to it are winding so you will need to allow plenty of time to reach your destinations! Enjoy beautiful Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Very good Caravan and Motorhome Club site. Sheltered with a good TV signal. Important to follow the club advice on finding the site and leaving as some shortcuts are not suitable.

Helpful, friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Spotlessly clean facilities. Quiet, peaceful site, will certainly go vack there.

Clean site. Excellent faculties. Staff very attentive but not intrusive. It was quiet when we were there and it is out in the country down lanes with passing places.

A nice site but absolutely should not advertise as ideal for dogs. It’s not. Nowhere to exercise them on or near the site. Only area vaguely suitable is a grass car park that signs had been put on telling people not to exercise dogs there but to go “off-site” which means walking directly on to an unlit winding national speed limit road with no paths or verges with cars regularly flying along it, not expecting pedestrians. It is simply dangerous and the site should be marketed as not suitable for dogs. We recommend the Moody Cow Campsite nearby which we visited. It is more accessible and much better for dogs and families. The area itself is fantastic.

Small site, well maintained like all CCMC sites. No views from site. This is an advantage because a view out means a view in and no caravan site enhances a landscape.

Lovely site. Staff freindly and toilet /shower block clean. Location very quiet.

Really liked this site. It’s more suited to adults. Loads of gorgeous beaches a short drive away. Lots of interesting places to visit, but you do need your car. Nothing much in walking distance.
Wardens very helpful and facilities always spotless. A relaxing, peaceful stay 👍
