Absolutely gorgeous place with stunning views. We stayed for 2 nights in a yurt and enjoyed every minute of it. Joanne is a wonderful, attentive host who went above and beyond. The hot tub is bliss and adds to the incredibly relaxing atmosphere of this little gem. Would highly recommend

We have just left this amazing Shepherds hut for the weekend and I can not praise this enough. Joanne and Andy made us feel so welcome, we had the BBQ breakfast the first day and the Continental breakfast the second morning both were wonderful with local produce. We also loved the wood burning hot tub which was amazing and helped me sleep by relaxing me. The views from our hut were jaw dropping and the hut had beautiful character with home comforts we can not praise it enough. Joanne also showed us around the farm and the wonderful plans she has for this idealic place. We will certainly be back Thank you x

Spent the weekend here along with my girlfriend. We stayed in the Shepherd’s Hut. We were greeted with a warm welcome, given ample time to settle in before we had a check in from our hosts, to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The accommodation itself was perfect. A nice cosy hut, with a comfortable bed and good sized kitchen. The bathroom facilities inside the hut were fantastic as well. The whole interior is very well looked after.
The hot tub outside was great. It did take us the first night to figure out that we had heated it too much though, as I put too much firewood in to keep the log burner going. Other than user error it was great! The fire pit with an optional pizza oven was a great touch.
The walk with the alpacas is MUST do. It was worth every penny for this optional add on.
A must visit for anyone looking for a relaxing break!

What a wonderful place! Myself and my partner stayed in the Bluebell Shepard’s hut for 2 nights. The trip from start to finish was perfect, cute hut, fab hot tub, amazing views, so peaceful! We experienced sunshine and rain and both nights were wonderful. Would come back and would highly recommend. 🤩

We stayed for 3 nights with our two children last weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. The views are so lovely to wake up to and the hot tub / luxury bathroom and just everything about it was so relaxing and enjoyable. We had one of Joanne’s picnic hampers and would highly recommend it, delicious! We will definitely be back next year, a wonderful place ❤️

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very clean with a perfect location and amazing view. There were no minor faults; everything was perfect. Moreover, a hot tub under the open sky with a panoramic view, what else could you ask for? If you are considering booking the place, don't hesitate, you will love it!

We had the most amazing time at Little Oakhurst! Joanne and her family are so welcoming and make your time there so enjoyable. We stayed in the Bluebell Shepherds hut which was perfect, it has everything you need and in general the whole atmosphere was lovely. Charlotte even got the fire started for the hot tub for us before we arrived as the wood was wet and they didn't want us to struggle! There were scones and teas waiting for us when we got inside and Charlotte had turned the heater on for us so we could start enjoying our stay straight away.
We also did the alpaca walk the day after we arrived which I recommend, it was so fun, the alpacas are such characters and we even got tea and cakes after which was a really nice touch.
You really do feel as though you are in your own little space, the views are from the hut are incredible and they even provide binoculars for you to see the wildlife and views better. Its truly a wonderful location to come and get away from everything. We will be back for sure!

Amazing, private little hut. We were welcomed with a bottle of mulled wine and cake. Comfortable bed, warm, beautiful bedroom window view, easy to use hot tub, attention to detail what made the hut just perfect. Kind owner, walking trails around, little shop at the farm where you can get all the essential. Kitchen was fully equipped. If you’re looking for some good rest, away from everything and everything then that is the place for you! We loved it and we will be back 100%
