Such a wonderful, tucked away, beauty of a campsite with fabulous, generous owners who cater for your every need. The welcome box is brimming with locally produced farm goodies and wine.

The 2 luxury yurts are new and beautifully decorated with wood burning stoves inside, a well equipped covered kitchen area for each yurt and luxury 'shower shack'.

The yurts have self standing robust hammocks and fire-pits outside just off the substantial decking. Barbecues and coals as well as firewood are provided.

Two couples can easily stay here for a weekend away without leaving the site.

Highly recommended! You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful site with great facilities. The yurts have a wood burning stove inside making it very cosy and plenty of cooking equipment is provided for the evenings.
The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay which was very much appreciated.

I have to admit that the owners are good friends of mine, but whether you choose the cosy cottage or one of the glam yurts I'm sure you will be delighted with the peace and rural beauty to be found here.
The valley is sheltered, there is shade if you need it and the location gives wonderfully dark night skies which are perfect for stargazing.

Lovely owners couldn't be more helpful. Lovely tranquil valley setting with just the bird song breaking the silence. Loved the acrobatic resident swallows.

I enjoyed a wonderful week in the Yurts with my friend and our three dogs.
Beautiful, peaceful and tranquil.
The night sky and stars had to be seen to be believed.
The Yurt accommodation is amazing. Comfortable bed and thoughtfully designed room.
A separate kitchen diner including small fridge. Shower and toilet facilities with the best view over the valley.
If you want a little bit of paradise this place is it. And our hosts, Heather and John couldn’t have been more obliging.

The whole place (Holnest Holidays, yurts and cottage) are simply divine.
Our hosts Heather and Paul were superb. Lovely, friendly people... and very helpful and accommodating too. It is a perfect location in one of the most beautiful countryside I have ever been to, and I must confess that my list is exhaustive.
My best friend and I, stayed in the yurts with our dogs. I have two and she has one. The yurts comprise of two very spacious 'huts', purpose- built ones, with extremely comfortable king size beds and pillows, and plenty room for even exercising indoors.
Adjacent to it, there is a well equipped kitchen, a shower room, and a bathroom a bit further across the perfectly kept lawn. Between the yurts and the facilities, there is this huge 1.5 tennis court size lawn space, which is ideal for chilling out and watching the beautiful country side and the rolling hills across the valley.
What a silent place!!! I even thought I had gone deaf. All we could hear were mother nature, birds, and animals going on about their businesses. The icing on top of the cake, certainly was the night sky! With the "Via Lactea" (milkway), looking amazingly close to us, and shooting stars and satellites crossing the dark skies all night long.
Also, I must mention the tranquility and views that one have from the bench up in the field, under the oak tree. There is even a small tree house there. Have a 'happy hour' with your family or just by your own there. Priceless!
Further more, within a 20 minutes/ 30 minutes drive, one can reach the local village where one can find supermarkets/markets, and the sea respectively. In addition to these, for those who like trekking there are innumerous and very exciting paths nearby.
I utterly recommend this exclusive, little gem ..as long as you do not book for when I want to go.
Thank you so much Heather and Paul. See you soon.
