A bit hard to find but a little treasure. Nice walk to the beach & bike ride to Knott End.

Ideal place for camping. Nearest town a walk away. Can get on the ferry over to Fleetwood or bus ride into Blackpool. Only downfall was being kept awake by the wood pigeons and massive tree in the field.

Absolutely horrible experience.

Turned up after confirming that there was hardstanding electric pitch as our motorhome is 7.6m and 4.5 ton.

Arrived to be told that no electricity on hard standing so had to go on grass.

Asked were water was and was told I needed a long hose as they could not let me in the grass as motorhome was too heavy and ground soft.?!?!?!

I had 2 hoses so hooked together however I was then told I had to go to to top of field but could not go on to the " seeded" part.

We decided this place was not for us so, despite having filled up partially, stopped and left. We were just calling to advise we had decided not to stay but before we had time we were called with a torrent of abuse.

We were then chased down the road for 4 miles by the owner who was very abusive and accused us of theft and was very threatening toward us.

He demanded large amounts of money for the water and his inconvenience which I refused however did offer some miney which was snatched out of my hand.

There was further abuse and threatening language used and, due to my wife's illness, I got out of the motorhome to move if away from her.

The owner tried to drive me down and then also back into my motorhome but I managed to step between so they pulled up short.

Police are involved so waiting for their further communication

We as a family have been coming here for a number of years now. It is a working farm with some livestock. We found this by accident and very glad we did. Andrew and Gina are very accommodating, friendly and helpful and will go out.of their way to help where possible. It's a million miles away from hustle and bustle so to speak, it's so relaxing and peaceful. A walk into Knott End village or to local beach and in turn the ferry over to Fleetwood which docks near the market and centre. In Knott End there good shops for a small area and a brilliant chippy plus a very nice indian.
On the farm the field is great for kids to just play and have fun. Can sit out and just talk to others on the site or have a BBQ and chill out. The family do their best to keep the place immaculate. Only rules I've found he's strict on is keep speed dead low on site (from the entrance gate) because kids playing, tidy up own rubbish, and make sure you remove all pegs from ground if using tent or awning as they'll damage mower.
Only let down point for me is when site is busy there is only one toilet and one shower, but for those in caravans/motorhomes that's not really much of an issue I suppose.

Fantastic little rural site
It may only have the basics of 1 toilet and separate shower, cdp, drinking water and a few electric hookups
But the setting is fantastic
Horse riding, livery yard and stud farm next door.
Walk down the lane & you can get to the beach or walk along the sea defence path to knott end to get food, essentials or ice-cream.
We absolutely love it here and can't wait to go again.
Over the years I've taken my children & my niece's, Nephew's, family and friends

This site is a working farm in a lovely peaceful area. The facilities are basic but this is made up for by the owner Andrew who was absolutely brilliant. Due to covid we were unable to use the toilets or shower. One of our caravans developed a leaky pipe. Andrew took a complete fitting out of a old caravan to help, don't know of anyone who would have gone to that much trouble. Our stay for 3 nights was lovely, great walks around the area and close to knott end and Fleetwood, would recommend for a quiet break away.
