Lovely quirky campsite. Visited alone for a 3 day camping trip which was a lovely remote and quiet location. Hope to visit again once facilities are completed. I think if the Roosters werent able to get through the gate to the actual campsite it would be a plus as not everyone loves animals as such as it is a lovely location for those never camped/ experienced a pod. Would have loved to book again but can't due to payment site being removed.

Liked: Fabulous farm setting with chickens! Great pod with comfortable sleeping space for us, clean and secure. Facilities pod/toilet v clean, too. Great welcome from owner, map and info provided. Hired BBQ/firepit, wood available to purchase if needed.

Liked: Nice, well presented clean site, toilets nice and clean and good stock of loo roll and soap. Friendly hosts. Great value for money.
Disliked: The cockerel (may be worth putting him into a hen house until a more sociable hour)

Liked: We loved Jerry's small holding, it was clean, peacful and very welcoming. The chickens and dog Sacha were very friendly and we could of stayed for a lot longer. The area is stunning and there are amazing walks and places to go for a wild dip.

Liked: The peace and quiet, space for the children to play, the ducks & chickens & the camp fire. Comfortable pods with power points, lighting and kettle & mugs for your morning cuppa!

Liked: We had a fantastic stay here (21/08/2022). The facilities are clean and safe and the up and coming facilities look amazing!! We found the location was perfect for the town, wild swimming, scenic drive. We were only there two nights but would definitely book longer next time. The owners were very helpful, thanks got a fantastic few days 🙂

Liked: The hosts could not have been more helpful. Lovely clean pods and what will be great toilets/showers once complete. Lovely location and would definitely recommend.

Liked: We liked the quiet setting and the small size of the campsite. The owners had made the area very pleasant with little walks and little adventures for the children including a path through a small woods and ponds with geese, a tyre tree swing and some outdoor toys. We were all made very welcome including the dog 😊
Disliked: Apart from there only being 1 toilet which was very clean (there are plans for them to build more) there was nothing I disliked.
