Wonderful place. Can't recommend enough for a wild and magical break in beautiful surroundings. Fran the owner is the kindest, most accommodating host.

We had a wonderful stay in early November 2022. Our first time here and certainly won't be our last! Everything from the Yurt, the facilities, Fran was ever so helpful and friendly. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loved it too. She's been asking when we can come back. Would and have highly recommended Larkhill to friends. S7ch a wonderful place to be!

Update for October 2022.
We have now stayed for a third time at Larkhill and this time post Covid.
The site is amazingly clean for a glamping site.
We were lucky to be able to visit during the school term and to have the site to ourselves most of the time.
Fran, Tony and Catherine are so friendly, it's like going to visit family and they are there to help with anything you need.
If you are afraid to try camping but would still like the comfort of home and you would love to visit Wales, then this is the place for you.
It's a great location and base to visit Carmarthen, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
Camp fires, stoves, beds and hot showers, what more do you need for an outdoor and peaceful stay. xxx

May 2018 stay. Absolutely amazing place, so good we re-booked to return before we had left. Thank you Fran and Tony for being so welcoming, we look forward to seeing you both later in the year. xxxx

What can I say! It's the day after we arrived and I never want to leave. This place is so magical. Calming and imaginative. We went for a walk around following the paths and came across the most amazing little fairyland, the totem poles, the little details they have put into this place is so amazing. We came here expecting the basics and got everything we could have wanted. I have to be honest I have ptsd and was feeling rather unwell upon our arrival. By day 2 I'm feeling calmer, happier and at ease. So far we've only met the lady owner and she is so lovely and makes us feel at home. I am already planning on a longer visit and bringing my children along. I'm not sure I'll be able to get my fiance to come home with me either as he is in his element building the log fire and loves the outdoors. But I'm good with that lol. Looking forward to our second night here. 100% really recommend but if I could keep this place for myself I would lol 😆

We have just returned from a beautifully relaxing week staying in the Mongolian Yurt at Larkhill. It was lovely and cosy with a gorgeous woodburner. All the wood is free and is top quality. Fran and Tony are very welcoming and can't do enough for you. They are full of recommendations about where to go and what to do. The campsite has everything you need including a fully equppied kitchen where we did all of our cooking. Fran and Tony made a camp fire each night for people to sit around and chat. It was all very covid safe with plenty of cleaning equipment. Local beaches are around a half hour drive away, Pembrokshire coast around an hour. Cardigan and Carmarthan are around 30 mins away. Lots of outdoor canoeing/kayaking options close by so theres plenty of choice. We did loads over the week and felt we really explored the area. We loved Tenby and cafe Mor at Freshwater West. Highly recommended

Stunning Yurts &/or Glamping in a beautiful Carmarthenshire location up in the Hills. Chery & I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for our Wedding Weekend :-) . The whole site is also completely off grid & is Solar/Wind Powered. In the near future there will be a Hydrogen Power Station for charging Electric Cars. A very Eco-Friendly Place.
