Liked: The owners were lovely and welcoming and made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived.
The site is so tranquil and peaceful with the most lovely walks surrounding. We had a few spaces to choose from to put our tent and had such a large space to ourselves.
Lovely little cwtchy places to sit by the stream.
It feels like your in the middle of nowhere but only five minutes from shops ect.
Can't wait to go back again soon and explore more of the area and its beautiful walks.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike!

Liked: The scenery was beautiful and the people running the farm were absolutely delightful! The campsites are well kept and you feel right at home as you arrive. My husband and I hit the lotto and had the whole place to ourselves but the site has a max of 20 people so it will always have plenty of space for you to relax. This site does not have showers but has a very clean toilet with sink. Our only issue was not having a tap to wash up dishes. We would absolutely visit this place again. They also have the cutest little puppy ever that gave us lots of cuddles. They are lucky we did not bring her home with us! A perfect few days away!

Disliked: Needed a tap for washing up dishes.

Liked: Very quiet overlooking the valley. The pitch faces you onto a river view and feels private. Lovely owners. The toilet block looks grim as it’s just a shed, but it is fitted out well and does the job as it were nicely

Disliked: Not having a shower is not essential but would have been nice

Liked: Beautiful gem of a find, very relaxing on the edge of the Black Mountains with an abundance of walks right on your doorstep. Site was peaceful and owners very friendly. Need your own facilities which is stated quite clearly on their page. It. Fantastic place to get away from it all and unwind. Pitches are spread out for privacy. Would definitely be returning.

Liked: The peace and quiet - beautiful bird song in the morning and the running stream. Simple site for those not wanting anything fancy. Just a location that is peaceful with lovely views.

Disliked: My only comment would be that the chill out railway carriage was not terribly inviting.

Liked: Andy is a great host, friendly and informative. The site is small but has a very cosy atmosphere and is lovely and quiet, ideal for those who don't like the 'wide open spaces' feel of many campsites. It really feels like camping in a natural wooded dell. Bathroom facilities are limited but very pleasant and immaculately clean.

Disliked: Nothing.
