Pencraig Campsite

Liked: A delightful, good sized campsite. Not too busy with a range of good facilities: hot showers, clean toilets, fabulous onsite Cafe and shop. Cooked breakfasts and creamy milkshakes available to buy. Fire pits available to hire and ample waste bins. Electric hook ups and water taps next to each pitch. The owners were friendly and proactive. There was a sense of listening to the customers and then delivering a quality service. The new Bell tent was in situ when we stayed and offered an alternative form of accommodation. The campsite is close to beaches, bays and is ideal for exploring the area. A lovely gem near the Anglesey coast. Highly recommend for families and adults.

Liked: Lovely clean site, hosts were lovely. Especially the lady in the cafe she was lovely to talk to! We only got hot drinks from the cafe 1 morning & it's such a good price. The day I did fancy a breakfast I forgot they were shut on a Wednesday haha! My own fault so I can't comment on the food but would definitely try on our next visit! The bathroom/toilets are immaculate! The only thing I would suggest is a mop in both bathrooms as the one that was outside I think the men kept pinching it for theirs! I like to clean down when I have showered as I don't want someone else having to do it for me! That is the only little thing I can say! Its a lovely site, nice to even sit in the day & watch the planes come over. I would highly recommend this site it's a good base camp. Its close to shops, takeaways & so on.

Disliked: Nothing! Cant fault anything.

Liked: A friendly and quiet campsite with lovely sunset views.
Plenty of toilets and showers to go around, in fact I was the only one in the shower block every time I went in there. Amenities were clean and tidy and showers were hot!
The pitch was plenty big enough and the campsite even had a little shop on site, all within a very short walking distance.
There was a really good fish and chip shop close by as well (Enochs).
Highly recommend this campsite.

Liked: Just returned from Pencraig and if they had further nights available we would still be there now. Well kept site with large pitches, showers and toilets modern and spotless. Would highly recommend.

Disliked: No dislikes

Liked: Friendly staff, lovely little site, showers great.

Disliked: We were unfortunately put next to someone who had an oxygen generator 24/7, so we didn't get hardly any sleep. We understand it is needed, however, we would've preffered to be have been told about this before siting us, so we couldve asked to possibly be moved further away.
Also the shop didn't sell essentials like bread and milk which was a bit of a disappointment.

Liked: The site was clean and not too large which suited us. Very accommodating as we requested as a group of 5 separate pitches we were all next to each other which was what we requested.
Shop has delicious food at reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff.
Showers/ toilets were cleaned daily.

Disliked: Other campers not cleaning up after themselves. Not flushing toilets or muddy footprints in the shower cubicles Not a reflection on the site but other people.

But far from a beach but this reflected in the price.

Liked: Perfect location and base enabling us to explore the island.
Each pitch has it's own electric and water point and the site has a lovely clean shower and toilet block. Beautiful views and lovely sunsets from the campsite and would definitely return if visiting Anglesey again.

Disliked: Nothing we can think of.

Liked: Small and compact. Not far to walk for amenities. Polite owners. Super clean toilets. Traditional type of site, which has a mix of Season Tourers, Tourers, Tents etc. This site is within 10 miles of all the nice beaches. Pitches were big, with water and electric within easy reach.

Disliked: Shop could have a few basic items, mainly Bread and Milk. This wasn't a problem though, as there is a Spar shop only 2 miles away.
