We have just had a great weekend on this lovely campsite and really enjoyed it. The site is not at all crowded and we were able to choose our own pitch, from which we had a view of the lovely Clwydian range of hills. The site owners are great and nothing is too much trouble. This is a site for the simple pleasures in life, and so there are no electrical hook-ups - but Martin and Gemma were happy to provide charging facilities for our electronic gadgets. All of the facilities are immaculately clean, and kept like that throughout the day, even when it rained and there was a bit of mud around. We were able to get some excellent cycling in during our weekend stay, including 'The Shelf', Penbarras and Llyn Brenig - lots of quiet local roads to explore. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at Minffordd - we will certainly be back!

An absolutely delightful camp site with plenty of room. My husband and I camped there with our dog last week for 6 nights. Toilets and shower room exceptional clean and kept well stocked. Freezer available for ice packs. Two outdoor sinks for washing up Very peaceful and chilled out site. Very friendly owners and were visible every day . Camp fires and logs available which burn extremely well. But campers are welcome to bring their own. Can get a bit muddy by entrance but owners are already planning to rectify this. Hot water only available in the one shower which is roomy.
Could possibly be improved by addition of another toilet and shower. Also some hot water for washing up. Chatted to the owners who said that it is something they are thinking of especially if they increase their site. At present have about 7/8 pitches. Plenty of distance between.

Lovely site with all the facilities you need (toilet, shower, freezer) to enjoy yourselves. There's plenty to do without having to travel too far including an Aldi, Tesco and a butcher within a few miles.

Absolutely amazing owners, really very kind abd helpful. Place is beautiful, only a small campsite, but very clean and nice facilities. Also very reasonable pricing.

Great campsite in a great location. Number of pitches means you have loads of room. Well managed. Showers and toilets all well looked after. We hired a drier drum fire pit which was amazing at kicking out heat. Lovely walks nearby. Kids found the river and threw themselves in. Definitely recommend this site, if you like small sites with lots of space then this is for you. There was one great looking glamping pitch. We had a van, tent and a shelter which was all covered by the standard fee. Book direct to avoid the pitchup.com fee.

Lovely place, beautiful views, very kind and friendly owners, we had wonderful time with our friends and family. Nice walks around. We would definitely recommend and we hope to go back there.

Lovely couple of nights spent here at the end of September. We had a bell tent and tent stove as it was a bit chilly at night. We had the place to ourselves! Beautiful views, great facilities, piping hot shower, we loved our stay. The owners were very flexible and accommodating. Great price. Very peaceful. Will be a returning customer! Thank you.

Lovely welcoming camping site with stunning views of the hills and fields surrounding it. The owners were very friendly and helpful and happy to give directions and ideas of places to visit. The campsite is well spaced with only 10 pitches. plenty of space for the kids and any dogs to play, there is also a little play park on site and stream to paddle in close by. Clean toilets, hot shower and plenty of space to do the washing up to. There is even the option to hire a fire pit, perfect for smore lovers and toasty toes alike. Thank you for a lovely time
