Liked: Breath-taking location plus warm, helpful and hospitable hosts. Option to purchase fire pits if you wish. Picnic benches available for each pitch. Complimentary tea and coffee. Showers available on site. Exceptional view to wake up to and eat breakfast looking at. Next time I will bring a kayak to use in the river. Highly recommended!

Liked: Beautiful location, stunning views. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Toilet facilities were great. We only stayed for one night but already looking forward to returning. It was really quiet the night we stayed so we had a whole field to ourselves and got a great pitch next to the river with views of the bridge.

We had a lovely stay here in this wonderful spot with stunning views, Freda and Peter could not do more to make you feel welcome, they are such a warm friendly couple.

The toilets and showers are immaculate, there is also a toaster, kettle plus tea, coffee and milk in a fridge for everyone to use.

We will definitely be back soon.

Liked: Everything! Our boys have declared it the best campsite we have ever stayed in. Such friendly and helpful owners; beautiful spot - the river, the views; lots of space - we played cricket and football and set up a bike obstacle course!; clean toilets, showers and washing up space; coffee and tea provided!; really convenient spot to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. We spent lots of time paddleboarding up the beautiful river - very peaceful - and swimming at various spots long the way.
We will definitely return! Thank you, Freda!

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay here. We parked the camper van on a very level, dry field next to the river and had a lovely view of the river and bridge and lots of space around us. Freda was lovely and welcoming and the facilities were great, spotlessly clean and a nice long hot shower using the token system they have in place - £2 and well worth it. Amazing experience watching bats close up feeding on the insects drawn in to the light of our head torches, and in the early morning, there were kingfishers hunting and catching fish right in front of us on the river. We weren't fishing but others had clearly chosen the site for the fishing.

Disliked: There is a quarry on the hill in the distance and in such a flat landscape, you could hear them in the early morning, and when they passed along the road nearby. Not enough to ruin the overall tranquillity of the place, but did affect the peace and quiet.

Had a great time at the boathouse lovely couple running it. Easy launch for the canoe. We went upstream and back on the seven, which was brilliant, you can go all the way to welshpool (if your fit enough). The campsite itself was fantastic level and the toilet facilities were immaculate with a kettle and a toaster. good washing up facilities and great showers. Even has a good pub just up the road serving good beer has an attached curry house. Brilliant place to stay will be back. Especially if you are on the severn canoe trail.
