Winfields Outdoors - Haslingden

Can I say a huge thank you to Esme & Ricky who were both excellent in their customer service yesterday. We bought a 3 way cooler and they both went out of their way to help us. Both knowledgeable about the product as well.. brilliant staff.

Extremely helpfull and knowledgeable staff, wish they had more true women's workbooks but I managed to find a good walking pair that should work. Threw my old shoes away there and then.

Wouldn’t recommend buying from here. Bought some boots that were not up to standard of waterproof when asking to return I was asked to perform a test on the boots putting them in water and newspaper or tissue in them and providing evidence after already sending evidence in as an image. As a busy professional this is an extra hassle to go to lengths to get a return or refund. Will not be using this store again and can now see further down that someone else has the same issue. Purchase with warning in mind that you likely won’t be able to return your items as they will do their best to try and not let you return.

Great place, very good range of stock. Very helpful.
But I can't help thinking that Winfields has changed a lot over the years.
They started off by selling bargain priced shoes, that's all gone. It was this that made them famous and they have now changed all that.
They still sell shoes, but not bargain priced.

I remember when I used to visit years ago and the car park was always full. Not on the day I visited recently though.
The shop is a large area displaying lots of quality walking gear and kit. Plenty of top brands to choose from.
The store seems to have slimmed down some its stock and the piles of shoeboxes you once had to navigate around are now much smaller and tidier.
Staff are knowledgable and friendly.

I REALLY like Winfields and have been shopping there for many years. The prices are always good but like everywhere, they have risen quite a bit lately but still good value. Huge range and great display. Good brands and pretty much all sizes in stock. Staff are also really nice and friendly too. Overall it's probably my favourite place to shop

Hi I went there looking for a camping light and ended up buying so much more. It was very quiet and a great time to shop (wed morning) Good selection of air tents and a great deal of outdoor clothes and equipment you need and some you just want to buy. I will be going back

Didn't seem massively busy, probably more staff on the shop floor than needed.
Had 3 members of staff around me at one point, one asked if I needed help, stood round looking after I said' no I am ok', maybe they thought I was gonna nick something, certainly made you feel that way.
I did end up buying an item and it was an ok price I think. Some items are rather pricey, but most have some discount.
Would go again to look at the work trousers and tops maybe.
