It is a fantastic store with a huge range and has plenty of stock. The staff seem really nice and helpful too. I'm looking forward to going back again soon for more camping goodies.

Ordered an item, once I placed the order I realised it was a wrong item immediately call back within 15 minutes of placing the order, told to wait 60 minutes to cancel and to call back Then was told all orders need to be treated as a return, so it’s 14 days for a refund because it’s a return they can’t just cancel the order before it gets dispatched! Long winded and not worth the hassle

Online ordering procedure is a joke. Items show online as in stock then when dispatched they decide to tell you half your order has been cancelled. You call the customer service team only to be told you can’t modify your order once it’s placed and you cant cancel it. So you have to go into store to collect half your order and return it while there. Not an effective way to do business in a world where online ordering is a lot more dominant! Certainly will not be using them again!

I went to Go Outdoors Lincoln yesterday to look at some new walking boots. The gentleman in the boots/ shoe area was very knowledgeable on the different boots and which ones would fit best. He recommended a couple of options that would suit and also brought out a few other ones that I mentioned I had been looking at. When I asked about waterproofing, as I had only ever had leather boots and these were fabric ones, he went through how to properly maintain them. Great customer service and will definitely be visiting again soon!

I visited the shop yesterday and was not impressed with the staffs attitude towards me, purposely coming and asking me if I needed help walking past other customers and asking me not once but 10 times in a space of maybe 10 mins . I was made to feel like a thief I needed serval different items from the shop in different locations. one occasion 3 members of staff were overheard saying that I needed to be checked while I was trying on boots . Another shopper came and told me. Soon after I paid and left I am not in a rush to go back at all disgusting behaviour

My second visit to GO Outdoors in Lincoln and leaving the place again wirh full shopping bags. In 2 weeks I am going to Scotland to walk up Ben Nevis and to hike in Cairngorms. I decided to do shopping here and of course I was right.Good prices, professional staff, Quite well stocked.

Huge store with wide range of adventure clothing and camping paraphernalia. Visited again today 3rd October 2021 and was helped by a wonderful member of staff. She even went and got a chair for my father in law.
