Came here today to buy something in particular but I wasn’t sure which model to buy so Mel offered me help and guidance and managed to help with the decision. Go outdoors has an incredible range of stock with all the best brands at amazing prices. The staff are always helpful but leave you to also browse when needed. Buying a discount card once a year is worth the prices that are saved. I always recommend go outdoors for all leisure and outdoor activities. Parking is also free!

Backpack help and advice

Visited the Cardiff store yesterday on Newport road, seeking help and advice on a backpack for my upcoming hike from North to South Wales. I was served by Emily and Martin who took the time to help me find the right pack and then helped with all the adjustments to ensure a correct and comfortable fit. Big thank you to you both.

Go Outdoors offers a great range of clothing and equipment. I have found their staff to be consistently helpful whilst demonstrating good product knowledge.

Considering they've got a "closing down" sale, on the products were no cheaper than online and 1 tent was over £200 cheaper online than instore. Also had loads of staff wandering around tell everyone the store was closing but only 1 till open and a huge queue so we left our basket and walked out.

The store has closed down. Rather disappointing especially as the web site clearly states the store is open.
GO Outdoors are quick enough to bombard me with email after email suggesting their online team must be pretty with it so why can't the website be updated in a professional manner?
A wasted 50 mile round trip.

Excellent stock levels and had ample ladies Rab jackets in stock in loads of sizes despite the fact I was there late on a Saturday PM. Guy at till couldent do enough to help me with my discount cards. Got £20 off.

Why you must pay £5.00 it's all a con plus it's absolutely freezing in side as there is no heating at all but still they have some nice jackets.
