Nirala Sweets Gants Hill

I am giving one star due to the grim atmosphere in the store. I went in and there was TV playing loudly. It sounded as if somebody was being strangled in the back of the shop. All I wanted was ladoos 😭 and I ended up buying gulab jamun because of the bleak, dreary and dismal TV sounds. The lady at the register looked miserable bless her ,I would be miserable aswell if I was subjected to the god awful TV noises all day .

Cake was nice but they misadvertise it as 8 inch and charge £18. It's actually 6 inch size. Got conned.
You can get a Lola's cake for £18 same 6 inch size better quality
They shouldn't wrongly advertise

I usually buy my sweet from nirala Gants Hill. On the 28 th of May I bought two box of Rosh golla and 1 box of Rosh malai for my friend. But my friend called me and informed me that all of those sweets were off. Today I went to the shop to complain about it. But their answer disappointed me- they even admitted that ‘roshmalai’ was off. Still they didn’t try to compensate me.
I will never buy sweets from Nirala.. and I will not suggest anyone to do so.

Good selection of Indian sweets. A bit pricy compared to similar shops just down the road on Ilford Lane.

Thank you for a lovely and tasty Ferrero cake😍, we had a great time and a delicious cake 🤗😇. One small cake was not enough 😇, my kid ate the whole piece🤗 so it means it was yummy, because often children have a bite and leave. But your cake is very good😇!

Staff are extremely slow and lacks discipline. They need to speed up and serve the customers quickly with a positive attitude.

We been to Nirala Sweet Gants Hill we bought 4kg sweet and Nirala Milk we open the milk soon as we come home but milk was expired and very smelly then we ring them back After 15 min and tell them your milk is expired but the guy over the counter say’s don’t talk too much just bring the milk back and we will change it then we explained him we come by taxi we can’t pay again for for taxi £20 just because of 5 bottles of milk and then he become very harsh and says do what you want we can’t do nothing.
So please never every try to go there be careful.specially for your kids sake.

Welcoming and helpful staff in helping to chose a variety of sweets. Also yummy samosas!
