Wyldes Sweet Shop

I have been going to this sweet shop ever since I was little, at least 30 years ago! Always a lovely place to visit with friendly staff and a great selection - measures in both metric and imperial too, 'cos it just feels right to order a quarter of [insert sweeties name here]!

Fabulous sweet shop. Normally buy in 4oz measures but you can buy 2oz. Or as i did 1/2 lb of fudge

Not many shops left like this. Well stocked, very friendly owner and very reasonable prices considering it's an independent shop. You can buy prepackaged sweets and chocolates as well as buy by weight from jars. Support our local independent businesses and please have patience with the one in one out rule they've had to enforce at this time as it is only small.

I have been going here on and off for years. Its the only place to go if you want true traditional sweets. That taste delicious.

Fantastic selection of sweets, including some brilliant traditional ones which are harder to find!

The lady who serves in here is so polite and the sweet selection is amazing although I only ever go for my Mints I always come out with a few more varieties there are even 20p bags made up foir children 😁
