We visited Sugacane on 11th July and were served by Silva. She was very helpful and my son had lots of fun looking at the toys and choosing some sweets. The shop was very clean and there was plenty of hand sanitiser etc. We're looking forward to vising again next time we are in Beaumaris.

Visiting this shop was not a nice experience. We were followed around the toy shop as the children chose overpriced toys. Then we decided to have an ice cream. No prices were displayed so I asked and chose the standard cone for my daughter. The lady took down an expensive cone and I had to correct her. Then she asked my daughter if she wanted sauce to which my daughter (6) said yes. She was then offered another flavour sauce to which I said no. Unbelievably she tried to charge an extra 20p for a squirt of sauce!!

Went into Sugacane in Beaumaris I can’t say enough about the young lady who served me . Her Customer Service was excellent and was greeted with a welcoming smile . I learned from her Manager it was in fact her first day . Such a refreshing change , I’m on holiday and I’m saddened to say Other North Wales staff need to take a leaf out of this book … Lovely sweets also please open a Store in Carmarthen

The girl behind the counter was very helpful and I was very excited to find the Japanese imported sweets and sodas in one of the rooms further back. Will definitely come again!

Some of these comments are ridiculous. The shop is huge for a sweet shop, you walk through to the back and they have a selection of toys and foreign sweets and drinks. They sell all sorts there. No you can't take dogs into a food shop!! I agree, prices are not clearly labeled on all sweets.

Similar experience to another reviewer. Never again! The products are fine but the woman behind the counter is offhand. unwelcoming and a downright miserable example of a shop assistant. My husband was dismissed for bringing in a small dog, in a curt manner. Many places allow dogs and whilst I waited outside with one Jack Russell. he took the very small one in, to make it easier for me, a Blue Badge holder. I did not know of her rude attitude at this time so held both JR's whilst he re entered. One of our Jacks always likes to buy a ball and I wanted a few pieces of fudge. When he came back out, he said "I really don't like that woman". He is far more easy going than I, so the experience must have been bad. Oh, how I wish he'd said about her appalling attitude before I asked him to go back in. My Jack Russell would have been quite happy to shop elsewhere. Sugarcane it may be called, but no sweet welcome here.

Horrible woman behind the till very unwelcoming she was ,no prices on display(probaby a trick because everything is overpriced you only realise this when you get charged at the till) very bad attitude an bad atmosphere

Terrible service and over priced sweets. No prices anywhere and no where to weigh. Felt absolutely ripped off at the till where the ONLY thing the miserable lady sat behind it said £12 for less than half a bag of sweets. No please, no thank you, no hello, no goodbye. Rude and completely unnecessary. I’m in Beaumaris quite a lot but won’t be visiting you again.
