Wheelbase

Wheelbase have worked on my car several times and each time I have been really happy with the work and service they provided. They're really nice guys, very thorough, fair and professional. I would definitely recommend them and will continue to be a customer.

So my car broke down while I was down in Esher 250miles away from home, While many other garages I tried ringing for help were not interested. Wheelbase said they'd help me so I had my car towed there, they were fantastic and Very Very helpful in getting me back on the road. Cannot recommend Andy and the rest of the lads in the workshop enough. 5 Star service.

I've lived locally since 2003 and during this time my wife and I (and our growing family) have owned 6 Audi cars all looked after by the team at Wheelbase. Whether it's a scheduled service with complimentary loan car, or interim work, Colin and Andy are both extremely helpful, and the workshop team including SuperMunn have always come up with effective solutions. We highly recommend them.

Always helpful, they don’t over charge and will go above and beyond what other garages do to help you. Completely trust these guys with my Audi Q3. They also found a wonderful VW automatic Golf for my husband when he wanted to change his old Golf. Amazing place. Cannot recommend them enough. Completely 5/5+++!

As a young woman, it's difficult to find a genuine, honest garage which isn't just out to make money - Wheelbase may just be the exception to this rule. I found a high-spec, low mileage car I liked being sold by Wheelbase via Autotrader in July 2020 and went to view it the next day, the staff were great, knew the entire history of the car (having sold it from brand new and carried out the FSH themselves) and didn't use any high-pressure sales tactics which made the whole process easier. I purchased the car which came with a complimentary Autoguard warranty.

Unfortunately, through no fault of Wheelbase, there was a wear and tear issue with the car so I took it to my local main VW dealer (Wheelbase is just over an hour away from me) who quoted me £2,000 which I soon found out was exaggerating the issue more than it needed to be to get more money from me. I spoke to the warranty company to submit a claim and I then, shortly after, received a call from Wheelbase who, having been notified by Autoguard, offered to replace the part for me meaning it didn't cost me anything - they even covered a majority of the diagnosis fee I'd paid to the main dealer!

They really have proved themselves to go above and beyond, and they are one of few garages I feel I could trust implicitly. As an approved VW Audi dealer they sell both brand new and used cars, and I have no doubt that when I come to upgrade my car they will be my first port of call. I cannot thank them enough for their honesty, friendliness and all-round fantastic service.

I cannot recommend Colin, Andy and Di enough. All I have to do is make one call and they put my mind at ease with any problems I have regarding any of my cars. When i moved to Essex and then Kent i still travelled to Wheelbase. Hersham as i don't not trust any other garage at all.
