Just brought a jaguar xf from here I couldn't take the car straight away as they wanted to do a full service and full valet on the car. So when I went to pick the car up it was an easy experience I will always use them from now on best car sales I've been to.

I am presently unfortunately having to initiate legal proceedings due to their not wishing to refund part payment towards a vehicle that during subsequent test drives transpired to have a potentially lethal fault. They have since tried to coerce me into accepting the car by refusing a refund. I will update...

Very sorry state of affairs. Townsends are trying to charge me storage for a car that was neither roadworthy nor safe, despite months of their saying it was and repeated attempts to rectify several problems including a potentially lethal fault, and then charge a £500 cancellation fee (that I was unaware of) because I lost faith in their integrity as a company due to their attempts to hide, cover up and botch-repair some potentially lethal safety issues. Very disappointing and actually quite scandalous.

An excellent experience purchasing a used car from Townsends. From Chris the salesman to Rob who dealt with a small occasional fault, the service was friendly, informative and highly professional.
