My girlfriend bought a Ford Focus from this dealership in November and the car was squeaking bad when she was braking, we took it back and supposedly it had been sorted, but the squeaking was worse, 4 more visits back to the dealership each time being told it is sorted and the car just seems to be getting worse. After being told the top mechanic has replaced everything and the car is now fine, it ran okay for a day or two before the squeaking started again and is getting worse by the days.

So today I have just bought my second car from ince, my first being a corsa after passing my test in 2019. They really go the extra mile. Fresh mot, all advisories sorted too. New parcel shelf and wheel trim.

They looked after me with teething problems on the corsa and nothing is an issue for them.

Mark is always really happy and provides amazing service, mechanics always do a thorough job. Matthew (the owner) has always been great to deal with too you have a great team.

No pestering when browsing which is what I like and there's garaunteed to be something for you.

Thanks again

Went above and beyond to ensure the car was ready for collection as I was travelling a fair distance. Showed incredible patience when I was kept on hold sorting insurance and payments, and were all round very welcoming.

My 17 year old daughter has just bought her first car, a lovely little VW Polo from Ince Blundell garages and were helped by Matthew.
We arrived to look at the car and were handed the keys, left to have a mooch with no pressure and told Matthew was inside if we had any questions or needed any help. (Don't blame him it was freezing)
Whilst mooching we found the car to be clean and tidy and had been defrosted prior to our arrival.
We were then allowed to go for a test drive with no pressure at all, (no salesman breathing down our neck in the back seat making me feel like I had to drive like I was on my test) My daughter was also allowed to test drive the car on a nearby quiet road even though she had only just passed her test less than 24 hours earlier which I thought was very accomodating (and rather brave).

On return from test drive I had a couple of minor observations about brakes and hand brake and blah de blah... and was told no problem we will MOT the car and sort those out for you....And that is exactly what they did! (not often people do what they say will these days) they will also service the car, and correct any MOT advisories and give us a warranty. Good enough for us, daughter loved the car, we will have it Matthew!

On collection, the car was ready when promised (thanks, disappointed 17 year olds aren't fun) we found the car had been re valeted so it was immaculate for her (though how long it will stay that way God only knows).and had plenty of fuel to get us home. 12 month MOT, failures and advisories corrected, service done. Matthew sorted out her tax and we were good to go.

I can't comment on the after sales service as we have only come home with the car today but what I did leave with was the reassurance that when my daughter starts at a university close to the garage but an hour away from home, they will take care of her if she needs help with her car (next year). From the experience of buying the car and doing everything they said they would so far, I have no reason to doubt it.
We have had a very pleasant non pushy sales experience, a fairly priced car, fully mot'd, serviced, immaculately clean warrantied car and a very happy daughter.
Thanks Ince Blundell, it's been a pleasure.

Hi everyone if you are considering buying a car from Once Blundell Garages.

Just purchased a VW Golf GT 2014 for my son and his girlfriend.l, this is my experience to date.

Arranged for a test drive with the garage, turned up and met by an enthusiastic salesperson, checked the car before the test drive and found hardly any fuel in the car for the test drive, low pressure on the front driver's side tyre and both front tyres below the wear marks (so would of needed replacing immediately as they were illegal) no mention of this from the salesperson!

Did the test drive with my wife all seemed OK, checked the MOT online and found the car had an advisory for both front brake discs and had not he sorted out before they put the car on sale?

Agreed to buy the car if everything was sorted including the alloy wheels being refurbished, new brake discs, tyres and car being serviced.

Agreed a discount for us to sort out the tyres myself and told by the salesperson that they on put budget tyres on any car, so I agreed to sort out the correct spec tyres for the car.

Left a deposit and agreed to pickup the car following week after all items had been sorted, discussed warranty with the salesperson and they were pushing the RAC warranty as my son lives in London and they only provide 6 months warranty and you need to bring the car to them for repairs.

Salesperson rang on the following Monday and said they were sorting the wheels and service but the chief mechanic said the brake discs were OK, I argued the case and they then agreed to replace them and also a third tyre as they were not happy with it. They also requested they sort out the tyres now as it was easier and they were refurbishing the alloys at the same time.

Collection day arrived and we turned up, sorted out taxing the car and asked to see the car before paying the remainder of the balance bit the salesperson insisted we pay first, paid the bill and bought the warranty after a bit more of a push from the salesperson and we asked if any fuel was in the car (noting what had happened on the test drive!) We were told the car had fuel in it, Salesperson brought the car round and being given the keys the salesperson was keen to get on with the next customer, checked the brake discs, tyres and refurbished alloys, brake discs and tyres new as promised, alloys were a different matter someone had just sanded them down and sprayed some silver paint on them, worse then before the refurbishment, told the salesperson I was not happy with them but the answer was we just have a bloke come and do them, no offer to sort it out!

Immediately went to the garage nearby and filled the car up with 48 litres of diesel now a full tank, set off home and loss of tyre pressure light came on after a couple of miles, pulled over checked tyres and reset pressure monitor, once home checked all tyre pressures and guess what the one not replaced was low pressure.

Telephoned the salesperson about paperwork for service carried out and still waiting.

Although they were reasonably helpful, my impression is that they just want to sell as many cars as quick as possible and the deal is done move on to the next customer. We did purchase the car despite the issues as it was the right car at a reasonable price.

Really nice experience buying my new car from here. Very friendly, helpful staff. As a single woman, buying a car can be a bit daunting and I've certainly been duped in the past. But I felt really reassured by these guys. Thank very much!

Went looking for cars last year and spotted a few cars we liked the look of, had a test drive of a Focus, no pressure salesmen let us go for a spin on our own, noticed a few issues which they said would be sorted, agreed a price and a date to collect.
Came to collect and the timing belt hadn't been replaced or fresh MOT as they said they would do, the garage agreed to come and collect the car and do the job at our convenience if we purchased it (first mistake of mine).

As promised they picked up the car and left me a car to use in the meantime.
A few days went by with no update so I rang the garage to be told the mechanic who could do timing belts was on holiday so would be done when he came back so not sure why they collected the car with no qualified mechanic.
They dropped the car off with a supposed new timing belt (still waiting for proof of this being done).

Few days later the power steering kept cutting out which was dangerous as was random and almost too heavy to turn the steering wheel and also an engine issue where it would stall if coasting in neutral.
They agreed to pick the car up again took it back changed the clock spring, dropped the car off a few days later for it to carry on doing it, they came out again and took it back and this time changed the steering rack, by this time I had owned the car a month but driven it 5 days or so.
It had to go back a further time as the dash wasn't put back together correctly.
When I finally went to collect the car the suspension was knocking but I had lost faith with the garage so just put up with this issue rather than leave it for another amount of time with them.

Fast forward and out of warranty with these guys, it now has a massive electrical malfunction which seems centred around the abs system, which several garages have been unable to fully resolve so I fully expect me to have to sell it at a massive loss as currently it won't pass an mot or send it to Ford and get put over a barrel.

Update: after getting in contact, the guys came out and took my car back and left me a loaner whilst they sorted a few issues out, unfortunately I'd been taken ill and was stuck in hospital whilst this went on so wasn't able to thank them.
The cars been ok since, a few errors keep coming back randomly but these seem to be partly down to this age of Focus.
