I purchased a car in May 2017 from research garage Nuneaton for £10,000. 12months on I find out that the dealership put illegal false number plates on the car when they sold it to me. This came to light when it came to MOT & Tax the car today. I contacted the dealership to discuss and report this issue to be faced with comments such as “this sort of thing happens all the time”, I was also told that the fact my car has no MOT on is my responsibility despite the car having false plates on so when I personally checked online to see when TAX/MOT is due using my number plate it provided the incorrect information. I accept I could have checked my paperwork sooner but until you tax your car you do not tend to check your documents. I have found the garage to deal with this issue in a very flippant manor and would not recommend this company to anyone when wanting to purchase a car. The fact I have being driving around for 12months with illegal plates did not phase the sales consultant or sales manager which I find appalling and unprofessional.

We bought a Fiat 500E from Research Garage online with home delivery and we’ve loved the experience every step of the way. Yasmin and everyone else were very responsive on the phone and over email.

The car arrived exactly on time. We went with home delivery, which was very quick and reasonably priced. The car arrived on Research Garage’s own transporter, loaded and unloaded with great care.

The preparation of the car was flawless. Even our detailer remarked how well the paint was prepared, with the wax even covering the lower corners of the bumpers which are sometimes missed on new cars.

Amazing experience overall. We’re very happy with the support, especially as online buyers!

so I went on a Sunday to view a vehicle the guy who dealt with us was great I wasn't happy with the condition of the tyres and after chatting with his manager it was agreed they would all be changed so I left a deposit. however upon collection of the vehicle on the following Friday only the fronts had been changed and it also a different salesman who simply shrugged it off.
If you negotiate a deal it should be honoured, simple!

Great experience dealing with this business! Attentive, professional, and keen to g othe extra mile for the customer, I genuinely cannot fault them. I bought an Audi A3 off Blake at research, he was prompt with responses via email, happy to take phone calls, and always followed up any promises made to me. He walked me through the process of buying the car and any optional extras I could get by buying from them. He left me to look round the car at my own pace ( which I really appreciated) and then arranged a test drive to make sure I was happy. There were a few things I spotted, that I mentioned to him, and he followed through with the garage to address any concerns I had. I had a small issue with the car following purchasing it, which research swiftly dealt with, Ian came and informed me of what the issue was and the corrective action needed and even sorted the work to be completed at my house! Great!

Genuinely guys, can't thank you or sing your praises enough! I wouldn't hesitate to buy from yourselves again, great customer service, great cars, great staff!

I complained to the dealership following dire customer service. They refused to investigate the details of my complaint and when I said I'd take it further the Managing Director told me he wouldn't speak to me due to my "threats" and told me he'd involve his legal team. Deeply unpleasant experience.

Reasearch Garage kept our vehicle for over 170 days citing 'we are so busy right now' we can't do the work right away. We then paid C£10000.00 for the privilege of their services. There were post repair issues, albeit minor, however, when approached regarding these matters, the customer service and assistance was nothing short of abruptly dismissive, defensive, denying and downright rude. Avoid at all possible costs. Appalling customer service levels any comments will be met with a brick wall of denial. I feel so sorry for future customers who unwittingly fall fowl of this establishment.
