Visited early December 2020 to have my Duster’s first service completed and was very pleased with the whole experience.

The service itself was undertaken promptly being completed in about an hour. I was also delighted that the technician fixed a slight squeak from the clutch pedal which I had forgotten to mention when I booked the service. The car was returned nice and clean and we were on our way with no issues at all.

I have used Dobsons to purchase my last two Volvo’s and whilst I purchased the Duster elsewhere (due to travel restrictions during the first lockdown), I decided that I wanted to bring it here for servicing as I have always found the quality of service at Dobsons to be faultless.

Based on this experience (and many others over the last few years) I’d happily recommend Dobsons for any sales and service etc.

Would not use this garage again. Booked Volvo for first service two weeks previous when I arrived they had no record of the booking, fortunately "we've had a cancellation"? Total indifference to this mistake. Called to check car was ready for collection, confirmed yes. When I arrived for pickup the car was not ready. On paying the invoice I was informed I needed a new tyre, on questioning this as I had only replaced it with a new one last week due to a puncture I was informed "must be a mistake"? £290.00 for the service alone total dissatisfaction.

Wife and I were holidaying in Cumbria and unfortunately my Nissan Juke developed starting problems. No Nissan dealers in the area so I took it to PV Dobson adn as knew Renault & Nissan shared the DCI engine. I explained my problem and a mechanic/technician (sorry i didnt get his name) looked at my car and checked it over within 10 minutes of arriving. He explained the problem and that I would be safe to use it for the rest of my holiday. I wasn't charged for this service. Thank you very much for your time, and expertise. Its a shame other dealers dont operate in this manner. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending them.

Visited today to test drive a car. Andy Pearson salesman was really laid back, helpful, chatty and put up with my endless questions. Very impressed with the customer care I received today.
