Went in to look at new Volvo, sales people ignored me and never came to ask me if I wanted help, even had to help myself to brochures, I then approached one of the staff to ask if I could take the brochures and they just said yes and carried on with the computer, very poor customer service actually 0 % because I got none !! Especially as I was looking at buying a new car this week, I may have looked a little rough round the edges but never judge a book by it's cover. I have already brought 1 brand new Honda from them but won't be buying anything else from them unless desperate

Called to book a test drive on a specific car, time arranged. I arrived slightly early (5-10 min) but was happy to wait. 25 minutes after my appointment time, I was still waiting. I was then informed that the car I had booked to test drive had been sold the previous day. I understand that these things happen but to ignore me for half an hour then tell me that the car had been sold was pretty infuriating.

I had a large cash deposit, needed a car quickly and was willing to take out finance with you...was treated very badly and no attempt was made by any other sales persons to engage with me whilst I sat there for 35 minutes. Do you actually want to sell cars?

A very bizarre and wholly off putting experience. Will take my money else where.

Recently bought an XC40 from Holden Volvo and we can not praise the service received any higher!.

From our initial visit all staff were friendly and extremely helpful, taking time to talk us through all options and answering our many questions.

The salesman was not ‘pushy’ at all, answered our questions by email after our visit and remained patient and helpful despite our questions and many changes to our order.

We got a great deal with all the options we wanted and throughout the order process they kept in contact regularly. We even received the car a week earlier than planned.

We will certainly be using them again for all services in the future.

The service was ok, but they tried to sell me a 3 years service plan plus 3 years MOT for £838, for a Kia picanto? If I sell my car, the plan can move to another car, but no refund. I went to Kia official website bought a 2 years service plan with no MOT included, I paid £359, not refundable. I bought the first 3 years service plan when I bought my car with NMG, I remember it was just about £300.

Yet again Holden motors have given great service both from the Matt front of house and also the mechanics. Sorted out my car quickly. Thank you

We came to Holden to look at the EV6 as we wanted an electric car that could tow a small trailer. We were disappointed to hear that the was a long delivery time of up to 9 months. Never the less we booked a test drive the following week. After the test drive, the salesman Luke Fairweather told us that he had found an almost new car which we could have within a few weeks. We collected the car last week, a day earlier than expected so we got what we wanted more or less when we wanted it!
The following day we had a problem with the car which turned out to be my fault. I dropped the car at the dealers at 6 pm Friday evening and by midday on Saturday was able to collect it after the service department had done their diagnostics. This morning I had a courtesy call from Luke to check that we were happy.

I can't fault the customer service.

We've purchased a 2015 Skoda Fabia from Holden Group. We've never seen
or test driven the car. It was delivered to our home address 115 miles away with a possibility to return it within 14 days at our own cost.
We were assured by the sales representative the car is in excellent condition, has passed their rigorous checks and has no known issues.

Once the car was delivered, we immediately noticed that the second key is not working. It has left us with an uneasy feeling, considering the promise of a rigorous check before delivery. However, as it was only a dead battery, we decided not to complain.
Another issue which we noticed was a whining sound coming from the engine bay when the AC is on. This time we called Holden Group and their service rep told us "this is normal and all VW group cars have this noise". When we disagreed, we were told to take it to a mechanic for a second opinion. We did take the car to a local mechanic who immediately told us this is not normal and is due to a worn out radiator fan bearing. When we called Holden again, they were not interested in the opinion of our mechanic, nor wanted confirmation from them over the phone and instead changed their tune to say that the noise does not affect the operation of the fan and therefore there is no issue. When asked to confirm via email that an issue exists, they’ve refused to do so. When we asked them if the radiator breaks down within the warranty period would we be covered by the warranty they replied it depends on our warranty details and could not confirm for sure. We have extended a gesture of goodwill asking to discount the price of the car by what it would cost to fix the issue ourselves and they've refused to do so as well. We've been offered to keep the car as is or return the car 115 miles away at our own expense.

In my view this is a company that doesn't care about its customers and its own reputation. Don’t believe their rigorous check promise and only buy the car if you have checked everything yourself.

I purchased a used vehicle from Holden Volvo during the summer of 2021. I did this without test driving it due to location and on the promise of detailed inspections etc. big mistake! I specifically asked the sales man if the vehicles drivetrain was in good condition and if it had been used to tow! The answer was, the vehicle had had an easy life and was in fantastic condition!! On receiving the vehicle I noticed that it was, to speak plainly, rough! So I put it in for a service hoping this would solve the problem. At this point I had covered less than 200 miles since delivery. I was informed by the main dealer who did the service that there was a major oil leak that had been there, evidently, for some time I had to change the clutch slave, they then informed me that the clutch also needed to be changed as was ‘knackered!’ First response from Peter Mathews (the salesman involved) was okay, and I was passed on to Andrew McAsian who was also fairly responsive.. then they went quiet. And I haven’t had any response to my last couple or emails. I would certainly not recommend buying a car from them without having it checked by a third party. Has cost me a few thousand pounds to repair and I am expecting to change the gearbox and driveshaft within a year. Terrible!
