For the first time in many years I bought a car 'unseen' and had it delivered over 400 miles to my home in Scotland - our trade-in was driven away. The car was exactly as described, immaculately presented and delivered by two friendly Howe Motors' staff members. I'm a car bloke and don't normally see motor traders being worthy of praise but I'll deal with Rob, Matt and the team at Howe Motors again, without hesitation. A first class company.

Me and my boyfriend bought a red Vw GTI from here a few months ago. We had a run in with another dealer before and were very nervous about dealing with another garage, but Howe motors were nothing but attentive and accommodating. We live in Hampshire and they delivered the car to our door step! We had a small leak with the car and had to take it to a garage, Howe motors were quick to pay the bill as it was under warranty. Brilliant service, excellent communication, we would highly recommend! (And we love the car🥳)

Fantastic Service just bought a 2004 Toyota Rav 4 and to say we are pleased is an understatement , the car is better than described and the service from start to delivery was impeccable, Matt was very helpful and honest, a pleasure to deal with . Howe Motors are a breath of fresh air . Delivery cost to Bedford was reasonable and on time

Mixed feelings about Howe Motors, on the face of it and came across like they gone above and beyond for me, but many of these items I had to push hard for almost argue really and they were built into the price or should have been standard anyway.

My main gripe is the salesman, and it's left a sour taste which I won't go back because of. He was forceful, came across like i was putting him out and he lied to me about servicing the car. One of the positives of the car they sold me was that it had a full VW service history, when I asked for the service which was a few months overdue to be carried out by VW and I would cover the extra cost before I purchased I was met with a wall and blunt rude comment of "we will sell this car elsewhere, take it or leave it" I wanted the car so I bit my tongue and let them service. They promised it would be as per the service required at the time. After that conversation you'd think you would make sure it was... They carried out a minor service and did not replace the spark plugs which they should have, they also did not update the service history of the car as it is VW online but didn't provide me with proof or details of the service. 10 months later I've noticed and they have sent me a backdated copy of a service however the car which previously had perfect main dealer history now has poor paperwork and I'm paying £100 extra this service for the service they should have carried out correctly which they sold to me at the time would be done. I also had to argue for my hybrid electric car to be sold with the correct charging cable it was missing. again the salesman was not accomodating of this but the MD stepped in and did then purchase this for me thank you. 3/5 is a fair score for my experience

Outraged at this place, wonder what the owner would think seeing this. 1 year since purchasing the car from Howe, my car goes into a service only to be advised the wheel was being held on with a zip tied shoved inside the wheel nut thread they had cross threaded. This wheel had 100% been removed and refitted by Howe before collection as they changed the tyre on it. All they needed to do was recut the thread... dangerous and if there was any doubt before, I won't be going back now

Highly recommend, I was interested in one of their Mercedes-Benz and Mathew with Rob were really helpful and managed to provide me very good part exchange deal. Everything was made accordingly to our agreement, car looks great as stated and every bit that we agreed on was ready. Smooth deal without wasting any time, thank you!

Bought my car from here during the summer. It had a problem during its MOT which meant injectors had to be replaced but they pulled out all the stops and got them replaced, not once but sorted the problem twice after an issue with the first set. Issue took a month to sort out but they kept me updated the whole way and the car is fantastic. Recommended

Had Tire pressure sensor failure warnings on the way back from picking up the car. In the first week power train faults and going into limp mode then a cam chain replacement needed after that . Just got it sorted myself as too busy to mess around plus I am in Portsmouth so distances are involved . The sales process easy and well organized .
