Not a good experience. Called to ask if they could fit me a new clutch, they booked me in for the service. Turned up and dropped my car off, got a call 3 hours later saying they couldn’t do it as they didn’t have the part and they needed to order it. They didn’t even check if they had the part before booking me in. Had to collect my car with nothing done to it and rebook. Rebooked my car in for Monday and the manager told me he would call me on Friday if the part hadn’t arrived yet and they would then push my appointment back. Never got a call so dropped my car off on Monday. Was told the part hadn’t arrived yet, but it should during the day so I left my car there. Got a call 3 hours later again saying the part wasn’t going to be delivered and it was short on stock and could take weeks or months. Surely this would have come up when they tried to order the product. Guy on the desk trying to help me at the second booking was lovely and very apologetic, however the manager should have called me when the part didn’t arrive and could have at least apologised to me himself, he didn’t even seem interested. I have a chronic disability so making me walk back and fourth from my house twice without anything being done to my car is appalling. I understand the part not being available was not their fault, but the way it was handle by the manager was awful. Did not check if it was in stock to begin with and then not call me when it didn’t arrive. Do not recommend.

Customer service and friendliness apparently is an option these days. After having to replace two rear calipers and discs and pads all round, I required the brakes to be bled as doing it on your driveway is just not fun. I was greeted by an unsmiling receptionist who immediately tried to tell me why I was at fault and how he hates working on cars that have been messed with. "You're down for an inspection, then we'll decide what needs to be done." Its not often that I'm left speechless but if I'm paying you to fix a problem, do the job, and while I hate the phrase "the customer is always right", there comes a time and place where a bit of professionalism wouldn't go amiss. To cap off a suitably joyful experience, I booked in for 11:30 in a town out of my way, as I needed the vehicle later that day, only to be told that they wouldn't get round to it, till at least 3/4pm. No hint of an apology for wasting my day and really defeats the whole point of booking a time slot. So now I'm left wandering for 5 hours and all in all, Kwik fit is great

Update: it got to 3:38 and I decided that since I hadn't heard back, I'd go and see what progress had been made. As to be expected, it was ready but calling me must have dropped their minds. Also, who would have guessed it, but the customer WAS right!

Just a word of warning, they had unplugged my intake (hardly accidentally seeing as it's on the opposite side of the engine to the brake fluid reservoir) and thus it was knocking against my fan and sucking hot air into the engine. Such a great cold air intake. 5 stars Kwik fit, you lazy bunch of spineless vultures. I knew not to expect a lot but I honestly am tempted to involve court

After an appalling customer service experience at the Marsh Barton branch Mike and his team blew me away with their can do attitude. They were very helpful and my car was fixed quickly and efficiently. Can highly recommend them. Thank you for your work ethic! The surly, eye rolling, young man at the other branch needs to learn from your team.

Hi,
I handed my car in today for the tyres to be checked and replaced they promised it will be done in 1hr 30mins and they will call me once its done. 2hrs passed didn’t hear from them. I Called the office they apparently haven't had time to check and said it will be checked in 20mins. Went to pick my car up 2hrs 30 mins later only the check was done and said can be replaced in 30mins however I had to get to work as I did tell them at the start.

Im very disappointed you shouldn't give promises you cant hold. Waste of my time. They didn't even call me for updates I called 2 hrs later to check.
This does not suit the name of Kwickfit, I would of expected some professionalism unfortunately didn’t see any.
They didn't even apologies very unsatisfying.

“Kwik” it is certainly not! Everywhere else I’ve ever booked tyres in it has been fit whilst you wait, especially when you have a pre booked slot. Usually less than 30 mins. Had to leave my car there and was advised it would be at least two hours. They would call when ready. Left it with them 10:30am and by 3pm still no phone call. Called them and apparently it was ready. Nearly 5 hours after drop off I get my car back. Certainly won’t use them again.

Incredibly disappointed, took my car in for alignment after it had been shaking and pulling to the right. Spent over £60 on front wheel alignment just for it to pull in the complete opposite direction and being impossible to drive straight. I returned it the next day and complained about the issue. Manager agreed to put it back on ramp, said was slightly out but not enough to pull to one side and I was told I was being too “picky” and that I should expect that from a 12 year old car. Yet I took it to a private garage and found no issues with suspension, and made the steering dead straight for me for half the price. Absolute joke, it’s not even like it was “kwik” took nearly 2 hours just to make my car more difficult to drive and £60 later. Won’t be going back. And really would like a refund for wasting 4 hours of my weekend.

The garage was extremely busy when I arrived. There was nowhere to park off the busy road, and cars were everywhere over the pavement as well. The person at reception was struggling to cope with the number of people & cars and to answer the phone. I was told that the tire change would take up to 2 1/2 hours despite being booked in. I wasn't very happy considering this has taken a lot less time before & that I had to pick up my kids from school at a definite time & it was in 2 1/2 hours! I think that the person was hoping that I would come back another time but I do not live near Exeter so that was not an option, I had booked the timing carefully to coincide with another appointment there. He said he would call when the car was ready but didn't. I went back after 2 1/4 hours & the car was ready but because I did not get a call I was late to pick up my children because the traffic & the timing were both bad. I was really disappointed & stressed at the consequence and inconvenience it caused me.

Had a puncture and they squeezed me into an already busy day. Reasonably priced and a friendly service even though they were clearly very busy. Well done
