Halfords Autocentre Harlow

Great service, quick and easy to organise booking slot and tyres online. On arrival, staff very friendly and helpful. First time using Halfords for tyres but will certainly be using them again.

Dropped my son's car off for service. Prompt polite attention, all questions answered. Got call a few hours later to say service was completed. Upon collection, they confirmed all work done. When we asked for documentation, was advised this has been sent via email.

Invoice and a form of service record received, but to date no upload to Toyota service history. Will chase this and update further. This aspect was advised could and would be done to maintain electronic service history.

No issues with car so happy with actual service.

Great service. Halfords offer a free brake check which came with no pushy up selling, just an honest, genuine report on what they found. Will definitely be using them again.

Had booked and paid for a 4-wheel alignment at Harlow. The next day drove all the way to the centre only to be told that the machine was not working for the past 4-5 days. And he (the staff) didn't even know when it will be fixed, nor did he have the basic courtesy to acknowledge the mistake from their side. They took my money and didn't even let me know beforehand about the issue. So, I wasted my time, fuel and money going all the way to the centre for no use. they could have easily blocked booking for the particular service if they had issues with their machinery or at least let the customer know before they make the journey. I did get my money refunded but truly appealing and rude staff.

Great quick experience. Went for a health check and they were done in no time and no attempt to try and sell me any other service. Nice clean area as well, we'll definitely come back.

A must for your car. Took my car for a Mot and they replaced bulbs and did my mot...highly recommended for good around service

You sent me an invoice with nothing included for “needs fixing.” this is incorrect as you fitted 4 new tyres but claimed to be unable to put in one of the lug nuts. You have left me with a dangerous car since it is missing a lug nut. I now have to take my car to the mini garage to get this fixed.

You took 6 hours to change the tyres, when I was told 1-2 hours when booking.

I had to return to get the tyres inflated after leaving Halfords. I had an emergency light on since you had only inflated to half pressure.

I had to get your team to give me my old tyres back.

Update: It cost £500 to fix my wheel. Halfords are not responding to my complaint emails.
