This garage is the best and the owner is a very kind and trustworthy person! I would recommend to everyone. Excellent in every respect and it's kept very clean and smart (none of that sexist rubbish) and even has carpet! There is also no retest fee if the car is repaired and retested within 10 working days (DVSA's timeline rules) so you can be sure any work needed is absolutely necessary to keep you safe and legal on the road.

I know Pete and Steve the proprietors personally, over the past years they have never let me down, their work and costings are both professional and fair. If you want an honest assessment of any problem with your vehicle with no thown in fake unnecessary work to be done then I highly reccomend Athena Garage you won't be disappointed. Real Experts who know what they're doing, you certainly won't be ripped off unlike many other garages, trust fair pricing with quality work of a high standard is a very important factor in business.

There are 2 mechanics working there. one of them is Pete. Whatever you do don't go to Pete. Called the garage for a full service with Pete he said he will do it, no problem and asked if I want to supply the parts or not and I said yes, no problem as you can get them cheaper. Everything went well untill i got to the garadge, that's when he said that he couldn't finish the job as he is not able to change the fuel filter and polen filter due to them needing a ''specialist'' (no specialist is needed, I had service done before many times in different garages) but he did change the oil, oil filter and air filter and he refused to give any invoice or stamp. Very unproffesional and rude.

My car brokedown and it was taken to Athena by the RAC. The mechanic was very professional, he had a look at the car same day. He explained the issue over the phone and it was luckily a very quick fix. When I collected the car he showed me what he had done. I could not have asked for better service, thank you for your help!

I took my Bitter SC here - wonderful service. Peter and the team are petrolheads through and through :-).

Peter has done my MOT and other necessary repairs for years. Great service. Never charges for anything he doesn't need to.
