Dented my boot very badly and was quoted nearly £900 from ford to do it (saying I needed a whole new boot), H&R did it for less than £200 and you can't even tell there was ever a dent. Great service! Honest garage!

I've taken my cars for MOT for the past 25+ years and had brilliant, honest and fair service BUT..... Then the old man Rob retired and his sons took over. Things went downhill rapidly. My cars started failing the MOT on simple things like brakes and wheel bearing etc which is fine, I accept. BUT..... H&R Motors did the necessary repairs, I paid £80 to sort the rear brakes, new shoes plus adjustment. 4 months later the handbrake failed while I was towing the caravan. The shoes were down to bare metal and hadn't been replaced or even checked. Next MOT failed on front wheel bearing and a few other bits. The work was done. I asked for the old parts they had taken off the car, they weren't happy about that and got a little short with me saying they were in the bin and I have no right asking for them. A few months later, I heard a loud wheel bearing noise and assumed it was the opposite side, as only one was replaced. But no it was the one that had supposedly been replaced by H&R motors and I had to pay again to do the work I'd already paid to be done (to another garage as I didn't trust H&R motors any more) I hate writing bad reviews, especially when it's a business I've used and supported for so long. But I feel the sons are ripping me off, charging for work that hasn't been done. I take my car somewhere else now!!!

Had 3 MOT’s done here, I’ve found all of them were fair and reasonable, the o my garage I’d trust. The guy always seems miserable and grumpy but I’d rather have a grumpy but fair mechanic than a happy conning mechanic.

MOT Centre Success. Local, friendly & fast. Car failed in the morning, got fixed and re-tested with no extra charge, and all between the school run in the morning and time for the pick up in the afternoon. Take your car with confidence.

Took my mk2 golf to H & R for mot. Top blokes brilliant service will definitely use them again.
