Went to get price to fit a front wheel bearing, I was supplying the bearing and was quoted £250 plus VAT!! Went to another garage £50 plus VAT, how can they justify £250 just for labour!

I never leave reviews and this review is very belated, but having driven passed there again this evening it prompted me to leave this review. Sometime back in 2019 I was passing through Coity on my way to the vets in Brackla with my beloved little dog and I got a flat just up the road, total stroke of luck it happened so close to this garage as I didn’t have a spare at that time. I stopped by there worrying that I’d be late for the vets and they were so kind and helpful. They didn’t have my size tyre but said they’d get one asap and very kindly offered to take me and my dog to the vets which was a couple of miles away and pick me up from there once the tyre was done. I can’t tell you how much their compassion meant to me at this time. I would have left the review sooner but unfortunately I ended up losing my dog to his illness soon after and so was too upset to function for a while. I don’t know what I’d have done that day without their help. They didn’t have to go out of their way like that and they wouldn’t even take any money for fuel. I can tell they are an honest, family run business and if I lived closer, I’d take my car there every time without question. Thank you for your kindness and impeccable service :)

Had my VW van serviced there. Van is now running much smoother. Very curtious and I had the van back early to help me out of a Birthday pickle. Will definitely use again.

My relative found this Garage thanks to their good reviews and locality. However he was to be disappointed to the extreme.

Firstly, he had an Injector repaired, and despite emphasising the need for the use of the car for his business, the Mechanic in question failed to programme the injector into the car, causing him to break down within 5 miles of the garage. They also decided against advising him of the importance of changing the remaining injectors.

In spite of this, he returned to have it done, along with the soon to be due Service, and the Stop/Start system, which mysteriously went wrong during the previous repair. While they surprisingly completed the works on this occasion, barring the Stop/Start, he then discovered that the Mechanic had neglected to reset the Service Interval counter.

Needless to say, after spending nearly £2000 on repairs, he wont be returning, which is a shame given his desire to try to support local businesses.
