They are offering s class with no panoramic roof I thought maybe instead of wasting time, I will accept this and work on Uber, but Uber don’t accept LCH insurance policy. LCH advised me that I would have to pay from my pocket to insure the vehicle and work on Uber which was costing me about £500, and the vehicle they sent me literally had scratches in every panel, Front left tyre was worn out so I send it back. (I have a video of this)
When complained, Natasha advised me that vehicle is fit and ready to work, and I told her any TFL officer stop this vehicle on road would immediately revoke PHV License due to tyre and scratches on every panel.
I advised them that I need a vehicle with panoramic roof, chauffeurs who work for Wheely know that Wheely only accept panoramic roof.
3 days no car with panoramic roof, I feel after all this they just turned me off saying no car available with panoramic roof.
Called them and cancelled the booking now waiting for my deposit to be refunded.
I had an issue this time with the car provided.
After making contacting LCH and having various unfortunate experiences with customer service staff, I was contacted by Jamie the Customer Service manager.
Jamie dealt with my complaint with urgency and compassion and made sure a suitable alternative was provided in a timely manner and arranged for a like for like vehicle that suited my needs perfectly.
Just when I had lost faith in LCH they pulled it out the bag and I will continue to ensure that I use them in the future when I need replacement vehicles.
unlike other car hire companies they do not provide congestion charge accounts for their fleet and do not inform you during handover so if you work or drive in london make sure you set this up otherwise its £80 charge each trip in ! surely they could create an account and charge the £15 to customers and include it in the terms !
BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU . yes they have dashcam cameras constantly recording your every journey and move . They also monitor your speeds via their tracking company.
The Mecredes E class i had was fittted with winter tyres which i found quite dangerous and caused screeching everytime the Pre Sense braking cut in every time you approached a roundabout ! (the annoying driving aids were defaulted to 'Early High Alert' and unable to switch off )
Both Delivery chaps were very nice people .
i suspect this is a small company that clearly deals with weekend wideboys renting high end cars they cant actaully afford, rather than providing a service for everyday commuters who dont want big brother watching them , having to babysit their drivers or be picked up going 7mph over the speed limit or having to worry about paying the congestion charge ! if the AA offer LCH ask for someone else!
I’ve had multiple cars from there with a lot of maitenance issues and their customer service team clearly needs further training. Specially Emma and Natasha. Unprofessional employees.
For some reason they only have 3 cars available in fleet and customers who haven’t got an M performance vehicle they do not get a like for like.
Furthermore the company threatens to incur bailiff charges if you don’t pick up your phone if the vehicle is not even due back.
I definitely think LCH deserves Oscar for worst rental company in the uk.
