Enterprise Car Hire - Southampton Airport

I tried several times to book a car from Spain and it proved to be impossible. I contacted Enterprise and explained the issue, and they pretty much said Tough.... They did not care that I had not been able to make a booking and their customer service I found to be approaching zero. That will be the last time I try to use them - lots of other companies who do try and help their customers.....

Staff wasn't really friendly and was rushing into explaining things to me, frantically typing on the tablet while looking quite bored.
I had a great car, low milage and great condition.
I got £100 taken for a snag in a tyre that was superficial.

Used to be a great place I picked up a car most weeks and everything sorted ahead of time, with very friendly and welcoming staff who wanted to make sure you were satisfied. But from now they have changed out the people who are disorganised, rude and patronising. They made the allegation that the previous staff were fired due to irregularities in the business which I understand now is completely untrue. I ended up walking away without a car after they changed the car three times and evidently didn't have the correct booking terms or thr emerald club details. So that's the end for me and this branch of national enterprise, I'll be going elsewhere in future.

SO ANGRY! My husband arranged a rental for same day collection from Southampton Airport on 04/10/2022 as my car broke down and he was flying out of the country early next day. We arrived at 6:30 and were told there were no cars for us - the Guy in the garage said he would call rent-a-car and explain we had turned up but there was nothing for us but instead said we turned up with the incorrect information! We have been trying to get £180 back for the past two weeks and have just been told Enterprise said the non-collection was our fault! So angry - I think its appalling customer care and Enterprise need to sort this out. Not oly did we waste time and money to get there in addition to the lack of available cars - but then to blame us?! The booking was under Amy Walker - collection at 6:30 of 04/10/2022 we turned up with ID, credit card, and our booking reference and were assured he would call Rent-a-car and explain.

Things happen and my car was not up to scratch. The service I got from Cairo over the rental period plus David when I returned the car was text book customer service. There was no quibbling about the issues and a genuine desire to resolve which was much appreciated. A long time customer very satisfied
