Traffic Self Drive

Recently hired a 9 seater from TSD, what an excellent company. I'm so glad we found them, the car was absolutely fantastic, spotlessly cleaned, and mechanicly excellent. The staff were amazing 👏 got us away on our holiday to Wales early. I cant believe the price we paid, we saved £100's compared to the big hire companies. We have hired a lot of vehicles over the decades and TSD are head and shoulders above the rest.
We Will be back and would highly recommend them.

We were looking for an automatic SUV for a family trip and the cheapest rental we found was Enterprise but still were determined to try to find a smaller more reliable local rental service as opposed to the chains like Enterprise where my past experiences have been very negative. On holiday abroad as well I always try to rent from smaller local rentals where I generally have much better vehicles and service quality and there is no tomfoolery with trying to charge you for damages you did not do or any nonsense like that.

Traffic Self Drive succeeded in the expectations of a smaller independent rental company. Not only was their price as good as the price at Enterprise, the insurance offered was better and the vehicle itself was for sure better! The vehicle was very new and well equipped it was a full option mild hybrid diesel Kia with automatic drive. It had lane assist, automated lights, wipers, high beams, backup camera and full frontal and rear parking beepers, keyless entry. Literally just a full option vehicle.

We used the home delivery option which is free of charge, they delivered the vehicle on time and the guy delivering it was very friendly, he took the time to explain the car features to me and also walked me through the known damages and gave me a chance to look over the vehicle to make sure all the damages on the vehicle were included on the damage report.

We had the vehicle for over a week and had no issues, it was in great condition and very low mileage on it and recent build year (I think it was just a year old or less even!). Added benefit of the vehicle being so modern is that it got great mileage which is great with the current fuel prices.

We also had them pick it up from our home, again they arrived on time and gave the vehicle a check over to make sure we didn't damage it. Everything was good and the people were again very professional and friendly.

Will DEFINITELY be using this company again!

I’ve been using Traffic regularly for well over 10 years, whenever we’re lacking internal van capacity. I’ve only ever found the service to be hassle-free and the vehicles in impeccable condition. On the odd occasion when I’ve had to hire elsewhere — due to location or Traffic’s availability — it emphasises just how good this company is. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Easy to deal with. Vehicles are new and clean. I have had a lovely Kia Sportage in the past and a Transit van recently. Would recommend.

Very poor customer service from PAUL. I called to try to organise times to collect and pick up a LWB van. I was told from PAUL that he is losing his patience. Terrible service from him. I will not be going back.

Very informative, quick and easy pick up! Couldn’t have asked for a better, more convenient service. Really nice new cars and vans to choose from! Would 100% recommend and the prices are great too. We will definitely be using this company again

After being a long time customer with Traffic Self Drive, my recent trip was another faultless experience. This goes a long way as to why I have stayed with them for many years. Their customer service has always been second to none, from emailing my enquires, confirming my request, to pick-up and return of the vehicle, they really are the most professional and helpful people to do business with. The process for pick-up (from LHR) is quick, easy and efficient and you are on your way in no time, staff are always punctual, friendly and happy to assist with baggage. On retuning the vehicle (again dropping off at LHR) the process again is super quick with the staff always being there on time to meet you, a quick look around the vehicle and its done. I will continue using Traffic Self Drive as my preferred car hire company and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone else.

Hired a people carrier for our Christmas break & I am happy we chose Traffic self drive. Good value for money and excellent service from start to finish. Would definitely use them again.
