I have not used Sixt in a while but my experience on Friday the 23rd of October at 5PM, when I picked up and on Saturday the 24th of October, when I returned the vehicle is making me think of a membership. Hopefully this service excellence is not exclusive to the Walthamstow branch. From the counter to the parking lot, these guys are friendly and very helpful. They even helped me with the right parking options around as I drove my car there to pick up a van for helping my uncle to move. I recommend these guys if you need to rent a car - no gimmicks but genuine interest in helping customers out, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Be Careful with this company!!!! I was renting a van with full insurance from Walthamstow London, i had noticed the dent on the back door and i been told by the guy from the company that everything it's ok and they are aware off. Now they are denying everything and i m being harassed by the insurance company that's my fault....even with pictures from the renting days they keep on denying...Never ever with this company!!! Be Careful take videos and pictures when renting

I ordered my van weeks before the move and also confirmed all details online on the phone and in person. Still I got a smaller unit and I had to argue a bit and be persistent about the loading bay size.
Be ready for delays on pickup, we had almost an hour delay despite arriving well on time. Eventually I argued the terms and condition and my attitude towards taking this to mitigation and was able to get just a bit smaller van which was just enough for our move but worked fine.
Make sure you take photos of all sides of your rental before you leave! And take photos of all sides and internals before you drop off! Especially if you do late drop off and there is no staff around. If the manager has no time because of busy period or else to take your photos and correct the rental form, you will still have proof.
And you’ll need it as I was contacted later after the drop off about a scratch and dent I caused. Of course it was not true and I had proof. Otherwise the car was good the staff was kind and and other then the hussle for the proper sized car all went smooth. And quite good price, though the late start caused me a £90 Uber ride… maybe add to your plan an extra 3 hours to be able to drop off on time and have public transport available back home. Best feature was the drop off at an other place and not having to drive back !

I wasn't a fan of Sixt rental in the past, but in the past few weeks i had been converted. The service and ease of booking had been really great. I have picked up vehicles from Walthamstow branch in Blackhorse Road they are amazing people. Credit to these guys and gals the service with brilliant smile and are very helpful. So Sixt you are doing a great job and hiring brilliant people keep it up👍.

I hired a small van for my dad and we came to pick it up but wasn't allowed to get the vehicle because of points in his license and the lady at the branch said she'd refund the money but still haven't received it and it's been over a month. We tried to contact customer service by email and it's useless and also called but it's also useless they just say to email again...

We were really unhappy with the service at Sixt. We hired a van in May and got a penalty charge due to getting stuck in a yellow box on Forest Rd. They must have received the penalty in May, but didn't pay it in time, and then three months later we received a full invoice for £170, which was directly debited from our account. So we couldn't even contest it. The original fine was £65 if paid within 14 days. Their phone service is none existent and they haven't replied to my email. I would not use them again or recommend.
I made the above complaint on the 22/08/22, Sixt sent me an email to contact and now they have gone totally silent. I believe they set-up these replies to make it look like they are responding, but really its to silence the complaint. Sixt, can you respond to the issue above please.

Really helpful and no hassle. I will certainly use these guys all the time over the old company I used which seemed a bit more annoying during the process. Named tenderprise or something similar. Big ups
